Good place, good view, good food.

Ate there on Thursday April 23, 2015 and food was very good; I had the yellowfin tuna and was prepared just right. It was not the best seafood I've ever eaten but in that area I would definitely put it on the list. Our group overall was pleased but no one really said much about it after we left... read more

Had a terrible meal - stuffed flounder - which was stuffed with a gummy, inedible paste. The salad was limp and had clearly been refrigerated too long - the cucumbers had an ice-burn. The manager (or owner - whoever she was) did not apologize - but sympathized. She never even looked at the stuffed flounder. We had a nice chat... More

There is no reason to repeat all the positive comments above. Inlet View is all a coastal restaurant should be. If you visit this area and miss it, you've cheated yourself.

This is a nice family place but the food was just ok and the prices were a bit high for what we got. The service was good and it is kid friendly with games on the sandy ground level.

We are glad that you enjoyed the family atmophere, good sevice and us being kid friendly but we are so sorry that you found the food was just okay. The food quality is very important to us. We are always trying to make improvements and especially when we have a complaint. If you are in our area again and eat... More

We were at Shalotte for three days, and other than Tony's pizza in Calabash, this was the best meal we had and wonderful service. This staff was so friendly. Best hush puppies I have ever tasted. We ordered the seniors platter and had enough food left over for two more people. One platter would have been sufficient.

Thank you for all of your nice compliments. They are always nice to hear. The hush puppies come from a family recipe and one of our favorites. We are so glad that you enjoyed your dinning experience. We hope that we can serve you again when you come back to our area. Gratefully, Inlet View More

My wife and I had lunch at Inlet View Easter weekend. It was a beautiful day so we were able to sit on the deck overlooking the water. That was the best part. This was our first visit to Inlet View this year. I was hoping for better. The worst part was the service. It was timely enough, but they... More

We are very glad that you enjoyed the view and very sorry that the food was not up to the quaility that you expected. Easter is a busy weekend but that is no excuse for poor service. Next time that you order squash, tell your server that you want them crispy. If you could let us know when you have... More

Shrimp and grits are very good, not on the menu. Only certain nights. Worth calling ahead to see if available.

We are glad that you enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Flavor NC filmed our Leslie making it and crab stackers on their TV show. Some items are not served everyday which keeps them special. Thank you for coming and we look forward to serving you again. Gratefully, Inlet View More

The seafood is local. The salads are fresh. The she crab soup was equal to or superior to fine dining Charleston establishments. The hush puppies are an appropriate mix of savory and sweet. Homemade potato chips are dusted with a bit of seasoning. DELICIOUS!!! I will return again and again. NOTE: The server told us that on Easter Morning there... More

Our surise service with Jason Benton on the top deck was great. He had a wonderful message with the sun coming up in front of us and the full moon in the sky behind us.Glad that you enjoyed your food and hope that you will return again and again. Gratefully, Inlet View More

Better than ever! If you're not in to seafood or just aren't in the mood for it, try the hamburger steak! It's huge and out of this world. The red peppers, onions and mushrooms are just right for it. As usual, the hushpuppies were great and I just learned from our friends that they're pretty good with tarter sauce on... More

Thank you so much for the compliments! We try to have a variety of food choices for people who do not eat seafood. The hamburger steak is a favorite of many even though it takes a little longer to cook. The hush puppies are made from a family recipe. They are also very good broken up in clam chowder. It is... More

This is the place for atmosphere and dining. Great Sunsets from the upper deck. The seafood is local and fresh. Also have docks for those who want to stop for a refreshment. Samantha and staff are awesome. Great Sunday Breakfast
