I was less than impressed. The buffet food was bland, greasy, and lacked freshness and taste. The macaroni and cheese was watery and without salt. The spaghetti was smothered in melted cheese and tasted processed. The catfish was good but with a batter that was over salted. The food in general reminded me of my old high school cafeteria with... While passing through Selma, we discovered this restaurant and are very glad we did. Their buffet was very good, with nice, fresh selections of meats, veggies, seafood, salad fixin's, desserts, etc. The wait staff was very efficient and friendly and contributed highly in making our visit one we enjoyed very much. We will definitely be stopping in again, when we're... More

Visit this restaurant often. Buffet style with plenty of home style vegetables, fried chicken, chicken pastry (dumplings for our friends from the north), pork bbq pulled and pull yourself. Home made deserts such as cake and banana pudding. Only problem here is unlimited visits to fill your plate, easy to over do it. Very modest price, convenient to I-95, motels... More

This place is great!! I haven't had a bad meal here. Love the peach cobbler, chicken pastry, carolina pork bbq (I usually don't like it but theirs is very good) and the list goes on & on. My husband says they have the best corn he has ever had. It is great country food and the tea is amazing too.... More

All the food I had was excellent. Fried chicken, fish, Lima beans, field peas, biscuits, were all very good. The desserts were also sweet and tasty. We will eat here again and again.

Stopped here with my wife and 10 yo son for lunch in February. My wife had a cheeseburger and my son had chicken tenders. Both enjoyed their lunches. I had the buffet, which had lots of freshly cooked pork barbecue, salisbury steak, fried chicken, fried shrimp, fried catfish, and various types of starch (mashed potatoes, corn kernels, corn sticks) as... We had an outstanding surprise party catered by Robbins Nest on 2-9-13 at the Holiday Inn & Suites Hotel in Smithfield, NC. The professionalism of the Robbins Nest staff greatly attributed to the absolute success of our party event. The quality of the great tasting food was appreciated by us and all our guests. It was so obvious that a... More

Travelling down from Boston to New Orleans I stopped for sleeping over in Selma, NC. Next to the hotel there was this little restaurant. And I was there at the right day of the week with buffet and lots of homemade wonderful food. I believe most of the people from the town was there. And no wonder. This is the... More

The wife and I had Sunday dinner here on our way for a week's vacation in Charleston, S.C. and it was as good or even better than my previous visit here months back. This is no exaggeration......we found no better food in a city like Charleston with its many fine restaurants at twice the price. The seafood, BBQ. fried chicken... More
