An enjoyable dinner thanks to a warm and friendly waitress.

Our family had a delicious dinner here while on vacation. The highlight of the dinner was our waitress Pam who guided us through the menu and assisted us with our choices. All of her recommendations were on point. She was friendly, welcoming and added a positive touch to our dinner experience.

I had the shrimp sandwich with baked apples and potato wedges (really fries with skin on them). Meal was ok. Hubby had steak and shrimp sandwich, slaw, and "potato wedges". He was not impressed. The restaurant was not busy; however, service was slower than we expected. The view is wonderful--sadly probably the best thing about the meal.

My family and I (large party of 9) recently dined at Port of Call and had a wonderful dining experience. Whenever dining at the beach in a large group, you have to either arrive early or be prepared to wait. Port of Call offers a call ahead system (simply call 30 to 45 minutes ahead of your arrival time), that... More

Basic food and nothing to call home about. Service also mediocre, very slow. Portions also on the small side. Nice view of sound.

Ordered the "spicy" shrimp and grits. It was a brick of dry grit in an oily white sauce. The shrimp were fine, but there was no heat. There also were no promised asparagus or any other veggie. The best item from our order was the spinach salad. Otherwise, the other entrees were bland The only thing saving this restaurant from... More

We came upon Port of Call after trying another restaurant (The Crab Shack) and finding a 90 minute wait. The reviews were mixed on Trip Advisor, but the places was hopping and the menu looked wonderful to us. Reality was the appetizers, soup and salads all Seemed fantastic. When we received our entrees there was only of the table of... More

A little pricey but the food was good. Nice selection on the menu, a little something for those who don't like or cannot eat seafood. The crab-spinach dip and the lobster bisque were incredible. Serving are large enough to over fill the person who has a normal appetite. AND a plus.. if you cannot decide between the single entree (... More

I live close to this restaurant, but hadn't eaten here until last week. We waited 30 minutes to be seated. Pretty standard I'd say, for this area. The service was very poor. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks, another 20 minutes for our orders to be taken and about 30 to 45 minutes four our meals. Four of us... More

We visited this restauranT once or twice every year. This year, we opted to sit at the bar to get faster service as we had limited time. We arrived at 7:10 PM, we left at 9 PM. During this time we received two appetizers and two rounds of drinks… We had to get our entrée to go. The service was... More
