Decent for quality

We went to eat at Port of Call for dinner. The atmosphere was relaxing and made one feel like they were near the water. The stained glass windows were beautiful. The view of the water from the entire restaurant was amazing. They even had a dock to walk out on while waiting for your food. The... read more

On June 20th, 2015 around 8:00 pm myself with a party of 8, ate at Port of Call.............This place was a disaster.... We had a party of 9 and they only got 2 orders correct. Once our orders were delivered to our table, our food wasn't cooked as ordered. The fried shrimp platter was terrible per 3 persons at our... More

The mahi I had was good. They did not have a lot of fresh seafood options considering their location. Not enough price options. The menu is not price friendly for a family. They seem more interested in not being inconvenienced to provide good customer service thus the 20 percent charge for just providing more than one ticket per table. Not... More

Not a whole lot to say really good or bad about the restaurant. Average food at slightly above average prices. Pretty inflexible about any menu changes which makes average service just average again. Little fresh fish on the menu which is shocking given the location right next to the beach. The best thing about the restaurant is the view, which... More

The food is outstanding and the service was great. The view is to die for and the owners and sweet as sugar. I love this place and will be returning for the "Shrimpwreck!" I suggest if your on vacation in the area, make Port of Call your dining destination.

We went here for dinner in June of 2015. It was one of the worst meals we had ever had. The seafood bisque and clam chowder were nothing more than watered down milk, with little in it. I had the mixed seafood, shimp, scallops, and a deviled crab. The deviled crab was nothing but a bread patty. Shoneys has better... More

We have been to Port of Call twice before and loved it! So for our Anniversary we decided to drive the hour to get there. We were so excited and knew exactly what we were going to order. Looking at the menu the prices seemed a little higher than we remembered but the food was always so good that it... More

If the weather permits, go out on their dock with your drink before sitting down to eat. Inside, most tables have a water view. The food is excellent. Forget calories and cholesterol for a day and have the seafood bisque!! Everything is fresh and well prepared, and the staff is terrific.

Our 5th or 6th diner place in a week and we were not disappointed. The place was surprisingly uncrowded considering the quality, but that just made our experience the better. Food was excellent, service friendly and professional, and that Bogue sound view! Great experience overall. Oh, and the hush puppies were yummy.
