I have to admit I haven't eaten there in a few years as it is a bit out of my way. It is in a rural area that at the time didn't have much in the way of fine dining. The menu is quite extensive with many items you don't see in rural NC that is home of the BBQ.... More

There isn't a better cooked steak around. I have eaten at places that charged a lot more, I have eaten in a lot bigger cities and towns but Ivan's is worth the drive. I wouldn't recommend an appetizer unless you have a big appetite. This place has Chicken, Ribs, Duck, but if you are a meat eater, you simply have... More

We went her for my mothers birthday, seeing Ivans had such great reviews. The website said reservations for 10 or more only and we were 7 so we thought we were safe. We ended up waiting over an hour to be seated. No problem being it was Saturday evening and they were busy. We finally sat down and placed our... More

My steak was so yummy! It was as great as going to a fancy steakhouse in Charlotte. Trust me I know I have been to Ruth Chris and Sullivan's down there. Staff was nice and the food was great. It was a wonderful experience without going to Charlotte. Would for sure go back. More

I recently booked Ivan's for my son's rehearsal dinner, without having tried the food, as we live out of state. I cannot stress enough how utterly satisfied I am. Joe (the owner) handled every detail personally and could not have been kinder, or more accomodating. We were not disappointed...the service was excellent and the food was just delicious. My husband... More

I've eaten at some of the best steakhouses around the southeast, Burns, Flemings, Mortons, Ruth's Chris and Del Friscos. This place unfortunately can't stand up to those places. That being said, they offer the best steak in town and are not quite as expensive. Wine list was fair and service was fair as well. More

Being in Salisbury on business for a week, we got to try several upscale restaurants and Ivan's was one of the best, if not the best. I would recommend it to any of my friends who are world travelers and food snobs!! ;-) The steak and grits and shrimp were wonderful..not the best we have ever had by far but... More

Always great food and great service. The steaks are the best! I also love the ribs and the salmon with lime sauce. If you like black pepper, you need to try the parmesan peppercorn salad dressing. It's wonderful! Don't forget to try the lemon drop martini! YUM! YUM! More

Ivan's is the best place to eat on the east coast. I was reading some of the reviews and a lot of people, much like myself, are willing to drive over 2 hrs to eat there. The service is wonderful and the food, well.............you should just go try it. Order the grilled shrimp, beer cheese soup, AND the ribs, You... More

Best rib-eyes here or anywhere I've visited across the U.S.! My wife loves the salmon, says it's the best she's eaten. Grilled shrimp is a favorite with my family and friends. My wife and I love to share the Oysters Rockerfeller. Great for a date night or a holiday celebration! Enjoy the service. Joe will fix any drink you desire. More
