Quick Service, Great Homemade Hotdogs

I love their homemade foods; Hotdogs are regular sized but you can always get 2 to make foot long. Grilled onions they put on the dogs is good. There is nowhere to sit but you either take it with you or they have a table you can stand at and eat.

I have been going to Haps since I was a child. One can never go wrong with a cheeseburger all the way with a cheerwine. Needless to say they have the best burgers and dogs in the ares.

This is a pillar in the town of Salisbury, NC. Love the hot dogs and cheeseburgers. You have to a have a Cheerwine to wash it down. Love the place for a Saturday lunch.

Well for starters, if you like the simplicity of a hotdog or hamburger, this is the spot. The best thing besides the taste of a Hap's Hotdog or Hamburger is the speed of service. For a newcomer, the very sight of a line stretching outside a restaurant and flowing up the sidewalk may be a turnoff. Fear not my hungry... More

You cannot come or pass by Salisbury, NC without this stop on N.Main Street. The meat in the burgers will melt in your mouth and the way they are done on a hot grill gives the burgers and dogs just the right amount of sear. Top off the dogs & burgers by going all the way with the chili and... More

Passing through NC with some locals. They took us here. They were delicious. Burgers with everything and Cheer wine soda. Heck yes. You gotta go here. Get a burger with everything and chips and cheer wine. Maybe a hot dog too. SO yummy.

So let me just start by saying that we actually plan our travel from North to South around being able to stop at Hap's. Cheeseburger, Hotdog "all the way", and a bottle of Cheerwine please. Enuff said!

A unique place to eat. You order at the counter, eat at the standup bar on the side, or eat outside, or take it with you. The food is quick, very good and reasonable. This is a small "hole in the wall", but very much worth a visit If you hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and sodas.

If you visit Salisbury, you must grab a burger, hotdog and bottled Cheerwine from Haps. Only open for lunch and only room to stand outside, so don't plan on sitting down. The atmosphere is awesome and you can't beat the deal on a great burger.

The title says it all. The hot dogs and hamburgers are timeless treasures. These are the famous ones that make your day, month and year. Its not fast food. Its great food made quickly, right in front of you. Look, there's a reason there is a line out the door and up the sidewalk every day at lunch. And Greg... More
