If you want to "go native" in Salisbury, go to Hap's. The lady was offended when I passed on the chili.
Well as far as chili dogs go it was one of the best right behind Cupid's Goumet Hot Dogs in San Fernando Valley, CA. But having said that, this place rocks. There's really nothing else to say besides my title, unless your a fan of the burger persuasion. I love burgers, and have been criticized by not going with them instead, but that's just it - They're both that good. Do yourself a favor and wash it down with Salisbury's finest soft drink, Cheerwine, in a bottle with pure cane sugar.... More

If the smell of grilled onions pumping out of this small Main Street space doesn't lure you in, the experience and All American food should. This small, very small restaurant is a must when visiting salisbury. The atmosphere and random conversations with percent strangers add to the charm. The food is excellent and service outstanding.
Small with take out,but makes up for that in food .Hot dogs and hamburgers. All the legals eat here, because it is next door to the court house.Cheap amazing food, with lots of personality.
No really it is a whole in the wall, but man can they serve good food. Only 4 things on the menu...hamburger, cheeseburger, hotdog, and hotdog with cheese. Don't ask for ketchup or relish they don't have it and they will look at you like you have two heads. All the way is chili, mustard, and onions...or you could have... More
