Its a very popular place, gets packed pretty quick so make sure you book before hand. Food was very nice. Staff friendly. Atmosphere nice, can get very loud though. Slight down side not much in the salad bar

We got the last table available for the evening! We were tired and hungry so we quickly ordered the lasagne and steak medium. Salad bar and bread rolls included thankfully we didn't take anything from there as the portions were huge! Couldn't finish our meals! Food was delicious and came quickly. Steak cooked to perfection. Tried to return the following... More

It was pretty packed on 29 Dec when we went. We were told table service at the Restaurant, then worked out it wasn't. The queues were really long at the order counter (30 minutes to order), but the food came relatively quick. Food was OK - a little too large, but I guess that's what most of the clients were... Inside this pub is a lovely huge bar which looks impressive and I was greeted by friendly staff. It was a quiet day and plenty of tables available. I was told that they were having issues in the kitchen and were struggling to cook meals, the gas wasn't working properly and they were unable to fry things like fish, chips... More

We went to the Pier Bistro several times during our holiday, with a group of 15 friends. The food was faultless, huge serves and reasonable prices and cheap drinks. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're down in this beautiful part of our state. Helen and Marron

We did not make a booking, but by incredible good fortune when we turned up, there was a table: the whole place was packed, I could not believe our luck. However, the line for the bistro was very very long and rather than wait, we took the servers advice and ordered pizza at the bar instead. The pizzas and our... More

Only problem they do not put water on table, you have to go to the bar each time. That is annoying, As it is a... More

Right across the road from the sea, very nice, busy place best to book, the wood fired pizzas look great, salad bar a bit poor though, good value for money

I think we may have been quite unlucky with the food we had over two meals at this place. The first night was super busy and we were expecting solid pub food but my fish and chips were crap. The local shark was super thin all the way through and consisted mostly of batter. Unfortunately it didn't seem to be... More

$10 Cocktails that was very good. $15 fish and chips. Well fried and fresh, good size portion. $18 for a good size Schnitzell with chips all inclusive with a small but surprisingly good quality salad bar. The potato salad was to be commended. Simple food but well cooked and at very reasonable prices. Will be back.
