Small Japanese treasure in Eltham

Great food made fresh - both eat in or take away. Popular for Japanese sushi, hand rolls (the chicken are divine). We go for lunch every 2 or three weeks and the lunch special bento boxes are very good value. We have tried most of the menu and cannot fault it. Recommended, although you may need to... read more

Basically all the food is frozen and deep fried, unless you order fresh fish - which is not that fresh. They need to change the menu and lift their game. Fingers crossed as it used to be a favourite.

Candy and her team provide fantastic sushi, sashimi, miso soup and other great dishes! My last visit was to grab a sushi/sashimi pack to take away and it was great but I usually go to Sushi Wushi with my wife for a sit-down dinner. We have never been disappointed. The serves are generous, the food is always fresh and the... More

This is my fave place to eat of all time. I go here for lunch, nothing beats freshly made hand rolls. I go here for dinner, the bento box is superb. And on Tuesdays they do 'Tokyo Tuesday' a set menu of tasters and seriously the value is great. Best.miso.ever

A small Japanese style take-away/cafe. Average for a restaurant, very good for a cafe if that makes sense! Very clean, friendly and attentive service and quite affordable. Not authentic, but still good.

Sushi Wushi is a tiny little Japanese restaurant behind the Main Street in Eltham. At first blush it looks like a little take-away sushi pop-up but if you take the time to sit down, you'll discover an excellent restaurant. The bento boxes are superb with subtle flavours and spices; the sushi is well flavoured and main courses are well prepared.... More
