We ordered the frypan breakfast at $17 per serve. For $17 I think most people would expect a larger serve. Some of the other dishes we saw coming out, for example, the scrambled eggs, were better value for money. The waitresses were very, very helpful and friendly.

Great food in a tranquil & beautiful setting on the banks of the Ovens river. Great spot for a stop with the kids or your partner. Very friendly staff & great food at reasonable prices.

I've been coming to Bright for years and only recently discovered this place and I'm officially obsessed! On our recent four day stay we went here for brekkie 3 out of 4 days. I had the avocado smash with a mushroom added and my partner had the midnight pan. Both meals were really delicious. So good in fact we had... More

These guys have a great little cafe with excellent food and service. Warm fire places make it all that more cosy.

Decided to come here after a recommendation from a friend and we were very glad we did We booked in for Sat night dinner and were treated to cosy, fireside table ... we were impressed with beverage selection, hooking into a range of beer, cider and wine between the two of us The food was great. We loved the tapas... More

My husband and I spontaneously walked into town to have a 'casual meal'. The coopers ale sign above the restaurant drew us in and we were pleasantly surprised with what we found. We decided to give it a go and we are so glad we did! The ginger baker is a quirky cosy place, with amazing food and great service.... More

Fantastic food and great service. We called to make a lunch booking for 8 and even though they don't take bookings, they suggested calling back around 15 minutes before our arrival and they would save us a table. The kids had a run around outside to stretch their legs and the adults enjoyed a glass of wine.

We had coffee here a few mornings and dinner one night. Both the coffee and the food were fantastic. The outdoor area has great fires so even in the middle of winter we ate outside.

Surprising little place, very cosy, open fire, great breakfast and lunch food. We went for brunch and loved it. Great bacon and eggs, and variations of this classic and great coffee.
