Yummy Breakfast

Nice cafe, lots of outside seating. Log fires located outside to sit next too. Great coffee and food.

A fantastic night out with great food, a good selection of wine and great service. The Cheese Fritters and Pork and Fennel meatballs were favourites of ours but everything we chose was excellent. Book early if you're up in Bright during holiday time though, because it's very popular and deservedly so.

We had the most delicious tapas lunch sitting overlooking the river in the shade of beautiful trees. The setting is rustic with old timber tables and bench seats. It was a long lunch. A highlight of our week in Bright.

Sitting at the end of the garden over looking the river, and sipping a gin and tonic is a delightful way to spend a sunny afternoon. Most of my 3 star rating is for the location and the rustic but funky looking restaurant alone. On the other hand, the service was variable - one waiter forgot about us, the other... More

Great breakfasts & absolutely beautiful location, with lovely rustic wooden tables overlooking the park & river! Perfect place to take a big group with kids to enjoy the beautiful autumn mornings in Bright. Staff are generally friendly & accommodating, other than the barista who cleRly needs some customer-service training! Highly recommend this lovely spot!

This was the best food we had in Bright during a five-day stay but we had to wait more than one and a quarter hours for it to arrive - we were not happy. We heard other people complaining too. Their only excuse was 'We are busy'. So eat there if you are happy to have a very long wait... More

A group of 4 of us came for lunch over Easter. I recognize that it is a busy time, but after waiting over 1.5 hr for food we asked if it was on it's way. We only asked as many tables (of 5 and 8 ppl) that sat down after we ordered had already been served, in fact one had... More

Set away from the bustle of Bright stands this delightful little breakfast & lunch, or, just a coffee, stop. Service good, coffee excellent, daily papers supplied. Take a little time out to sit and read or work out the daily crossword at the quiet end of town.

Great breakfast great setting. Coffee was good and service was attentive. Perfect start to the day. We can even say we had breakfast with Charley Boorman.
