Well located with good range of meals and nice outlook

Thursday night is $10 pizza and $4 Pale Ale pints, both of which suited me down to the ground. Ate with about a dozen other people all of whom seemed to enjoy their meals and the environment.

Having a meals with friends and families. My salt and pepper was ok and I reckon the serve size has halved. Spag and meatballs for another, but way to much meat and not enough pasta. Chicken curry was too spicy. But the other meals and schnitties were good value for money. We'll keep coming back though.

Nice newish place, but bottom line, we were there for the food. It was ok, but not worth a second visit. Staff were friendly enough, you can see what is beiong cooked. Just it's missing the love. Oh, and maybe taste. No salad bar, so you have to accept what is dished up.

would have been good if there had been plainer food as hubby only eats well cooked red meat. Other than that great service

Went in for a pre lunch drink and no one was in attendance at the bar. When a guy finally came out, the first words out of his mouth were "we don't open til 12". No word of welcome. When I said I wanted a drink he served us with the weakest llb ever. Couldn't taste the bitters at all.... More

Nice to have a meal overlooking the water. Very relaxing. Coloring in sheets for the children. Great photo opportunities for the sunset.

Whilst visiting family in Moonta Bay over Xmas and new year, we were taken to this place for a meal. The menu was not extensive but adequate for a venue of this type. I personally ordered the double burger, with all the trimmings. It was humongous, I had to break it down into two parts. It was the BEST burger... More

Was in Wallaroo for two nights. Visited here on the first night with business colleague. I had grilled whiting...nice fresh but smallish portion. $32 for two pieces. Colleague had salt and pepper squid, which she enjoyed. However the highlight was definitely the Nutty Chocolate Pot...macadamia ice cream, praline, nuts and chocolate...yum. Enjoyed the strawberry and lime cider on tap too

In a town sporting grain export, residential retiree developments and seasonal hoards of holiday invaders, there is ample scope for a successful pub-cum-pokie-cum-bistro venue. And Coopers Alehouse is it. It trades on the fine, mass market but quality name of the Coopers. While there are other places to eat and drink, the Coopers name whets the interest of the great... Quite a review you have written. Yes we are a busy venue, our staff have to be fast paced to take out all the meals. I think your review and your sarcasm has taken things a bit far. If you simply asked to have the aircond adjusted or moved to another table we would have gladly accommodated your requests. I... More
