Wonderful!

We haven't dined here in a while but have never had a bad meal here either. We just had a main meal and it was beautiful. I had the barramundi and it was devine. Crispy skin and perfectly cooked on a bed of seafood risotto. Loved every bite. My husband had the grilled chicken with chorizo and... read more

Service was good and steak was cooked to perfection. It is BYO which is unusual in a wine area. Would recommend for a special dinner

This is quite a casual place, but the food was very good and they had a good wine list. Service was average and no atmosphere, but I would return for the food.

My husband and I went here on our weekend away to barossa valley. The food was really good, Enjoyed all 3 courses! Steak was perfectly cooked & presentation of the food was beautiful. The only thing I would suggest (which I did& they said the new owner is keen to do) is to have cocktails on the drinks list- As... More

Always one of my favourites. A menu that is truly unique, offering exceptional quality. The service as always is informative and professional, and love the setting, indoor a beautiful roomy old style house or outdoor a peaceful green garden setting. A must visit.

We regularly visit the Barossa and we have always dined at 1918 as it is very well known to friends and family of ours. It has always been a must destination on our weekends to the region, however our experience was lacking this last public holiday weekend. On arrival we were greeted by a gentleman who came across quite abrupt... More

Thus far i've only ever given positive reviews on trip advisor, however I felt the need to give a review of my experience... hopefully 1918 sort out their service & menu. I'll start with, yes, the food was great and very tasty. That's where my positive comments end. Service was non existent really. Mains were fine and came out in... More
