After reading the one bad review we were nervous ahead of our dinner. Our concerns were quickly dispelled! Great service, thank you Mel! The Parmesan infused olive oil is out of this world! Couldn't wait to buy a bottle to take home! We had the prawns and soup of the day for our starters both were gorgeous. Onto the pork... More

Everything was amazing. We got 3 entrees because we couldn't decide. Even though fine dinning meals were a decent size. So filling and just delicious. You will not regret. Great prices. Then again I'm from WA were everything is so expensive. Save room for desert. I don't usually eat desert but after seeing the table next to us I couldn't... More

We dined here on a Tuesday night as there was not much else available. Food was lovely but quite expensive with not too many options. Nothing extraordinary in dishes. Some options were not available by the time we came to dessert which was disappointing. Any sides or bread were extra & no greens were served with mains which adds a... More

This restaurant serves great food in a great setting. The restaurant building was built in 1918 - hence the name- and it is deceptively large. The rooms are spacious and welcoming, especially because of the log fires that warmed the cold September night when we visited. The restaurant was very busy on a midweek day, but the service was impeccable... More

Average in every way Do not expect too much and it may satisfy - if thru try hard. The hair in the spatchcock was an unexpected surprise as was the waitress for thanking us for pointing out the embarrassment .

Based on recommendations, we visited this restaurant for lunch. The service was average, the food was good - flavour intensive. Would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice bite whilst travelling around the wineries. Make sure you book ahead!

My partner, myself and our child who is 4 dined here today for father day. A confirmation phone call was made on the Friday for our Sunday booking, which was great! On arrival we were seated outside, we ordered 2 entrees and 2 mains and 1 kids meal, and drinks. The drinks were served, and food arrived punctually, the entrees... More

My partner and I had a pleasant evening meal here, we thought the venue was interesting and was certainly reasonably full without being overcrowded. Food was served quickly, well presented on the plate we considered good value. We were happy with our night there and would re visit again when next in Tanunda
