Absolutely Terrific Lunch

On our 29th day in the South Pacific, we stopped at Kaesler Kitchen in Nuriootpa for lunch. We had previously eaten at many fine restaurants including South Ocean Lodge and Lizard Island and the Four Seasons in Bora Bora - to name a few. The menu at Kaesler was limited with only 3 main choices. My... read more

On New Year’s Eve, three of us raced into Kaesler Kitchen, hot off our pushbikes, hoping to enjoy lunch, although admittedly it was getting a little late. The cheerful staff member greeting us checked with the kitchen and happily reported that we were not too late, and seated us upstairs, as most of the downstairs tables were finishing their own... Wow. Walked into Kaesler Kitchen for lunch today and was immediately greeted by a lovely young man who seated us and brought our menus immediately. There was only another table seated so naturally we were not sure what to expect. Kaesler Kitchen is low key, it's simple with woden tables and chairs similar to a set up in an upmarket... More

We stayed at Kaeslers Cottages on several occasions. The service in the restaurant was very good and the food was delicious. The only trouble was the steps to the restaurant and inside the retuarant.

We had a late sitting post function, the restuarant was crazy busy, wait staff made sure our drinks were topped up while we waited for our meal. Had 2 course set dinner that was simply fantastic. Great portions sizes, well presented and most importantly YUMMY. The staff managed to keep smiley as the continued to take orders well into the... More

Mainly does breakfast and lunch but we were lucky to have dinner as well. An excellent young chef in Matt who was full of surprises Although I often have mushrooms for lunch, this was special with 4 varieties - Shemiji, Black Fungi, Oyster and Shitake - an amazing dish not obvious from reading the menu. Dinner was just as good... More

Four of us headed back to Kaesler's Kitchen (which has been closed for a number of years). We weren't disappointed. The log fire was burning so it felt nice and cosy on a autumn day. Our waitress was great and the food was superb. We all decided on the lovely chicken curry. Presentation and taste was fabulous. Chef said we... More

Nice restaurant for a great quiet dinning experience. It is located in the Barossa Valley and has a great wine list.
