A lovely lady at Rymill Wines suggested we check out Fodder. We weren't disappointed. Fantastic wood oven pizza. Friendly, efficient service. Really liked that we weren't rushed and were offered to see the menu before we even sat down. Delicious all round.

Fodders is a real gem. Situated in the tiny township of Coonawarra, beside a lovely treed park, it is a must do while in the region. Delicious, varied and interesting menu, making excellent use of the fresh local produce. Warm welcoming and relaxing environment with lovely local wines to enjoy with your relaxed meal. We decided on a light lunch... More

We were taken to Fodder for lunch on our Coonawarra winery tour. We had 2 pizzas and a plate of chips for $53. Wood fired pizza bases were crisp and toppings thoughtful. Loved the note that Fodder do not do chicken or pineapple on pizza! BYO if necessary. Service by the owner was efficient but friendly.

Wow, the gnocchi with burnt sage butter is light and full of flavor. the waitress even brought out some sourdough to mop up the leftover butter. Good selection of wood oven pizzas, local wines by the glass. The waitress was busy, but polite and friendly. Really pleased we stopped for lunch

Lunched here Mon 2/11, food was delicious. Staff were really busy but were excellent. Wine by the glass was perfect for lunch. Would love to visit again.

Went there on the recommendation of one of the wineries. A great decision. The menu was not large but quite varied to cater for even the most fussy of eaters. The food was great. Tasty and just enough to get you through until dinner. Pricing is reasonable for the great food. Recommended for anyone who enjoys great food.

Everytime we have an opportunity to visit the Coonawarra we make plans to have lunch at this little gem. We have never been dissapointed. This time we chose the tasting plates of pan fried scallops in a sweetish sayce garnished with lime quats . Nice but could have been made even better with a squeeze of lime juice. The other... More

Such a wonderful setting, friendly people, brilliant food, lovely wines. Think the Coonawarra area need to market themselves a lot better, as if you miss this gem, that would be a shame.
