A delightful lunch stop on the way from Broken Hill to Adelaide. Modern, clean décor, interesting music and friendly, efficient service. Pizzas reminiscent of the best we had in Italy, cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven by an Italian cook. Not oily or salty, just delicious and beautifully prepared. Complimentary garlic bread was a welcome starter on a cold, rainy... More

We ordered a couple of pasta dishes which were absolutely scrumptious. The staff/owners we extremely friendly and helpful and what a great atmosphere. We would have eaten there again if we were staying longer. Maybe another time!!

I waited to order takeaway. No one served me. Local came in and was served. Lady just walked away. Disgusting. There's no other options in town for takeaway so I didn't walk out. Pizza was excellent. Just a shame the service was so disgusting!

Many thanks for your feedback about your experience on Saturday evening. It always hits deep when we don’t get it right, and in your case I have to take the responsibility for letting you down because I gave you the menu to look at when you first came in and I should have double checked that you had ordered when... We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. We loved the way the service was set up, you can pick your own wine from the shelf and help yourself to drinks, the friendly wait staff tell you the specials for the night. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, the food was authentic and tasty, everyone enjoyed their meals. The wine selection was... More

We were glad we booked...whilst empty when we arrived, the place filled within minutes. The food is great...lovely and wholesome...just what we needed on a bleak winter's night...rain and wind howling outside and on the tin roof. What atmosphere !!! The staff are great: welcoming and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt like we are having dinner... More

Had a pizza here the other night. What a spot. Made by an Italian with all the correct ingredients. The lighting (strip) could be better, and the service can be a little haphazard. But it is still great. The wine is always great as well.

A couple of weeks ago I dined at La Pecora Nera for a work tips night. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we had the most fantastic evening full of fun and enjoyment. We were seated in the back room with the record played and took full advantage of that :) The food was delicious... More

Our family had dinner here. Great service, food and atmosphere. Very kid friendly with butchers paper on the tables and crayons for the kids to draw. Italian and local wine by the glass available. Another highlight was the bambino gelato which are small, bite size chocolate covered icecreams. A perfect end to the meal.
