Visited on a road trip stop over. Had the house 'Bordertown' special with fried rice. Honestly tasted what you'd expect from a shopping centre fast food joint. Spring roll tasted like meat pie, the fried rice was plain and boring, and finally the 'spicy sizzling special' was bland and artificial tasting. Service was adequate. Not worth the visit or the... The food is genuine Chinese, the owners are long term residents of Bordertown. Friendly, obliging and sincere. We eat here regularly also have take away. Always fresh ingredients.

My family and I were very pleased with the food and service here. The staff were very accommodating and understanding of my seafood allergies, as well as friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our order, and the meals were very reasonably sized, and tasted great too. The price was also very reasonable, as we fed a family of... More

Eat in or Take Away. You can ask for something Special even though it's not on the menu. We were well recommended by the Bordertown Abode Parkland Motel & we were so happy.

We are city people but can see why people have fallen in love with the country. The staff was very down to earth and welcoming and no racism intended but they all spoke good English which was a nice change .. We waited about 20 mins but the staff was concerning to us and checked on us many times offering... More

We sat for 40 mins watching take away orders being prepared and sevred. Only got our meal when we asked. Never asked if we required more drinks. Food was average at best rice was not fully cooked. Very very over priced. Would not recommend unless nothing else is open.

We arrived tired and hungry after a long drive. The service was very fast and the meat and veges used were very good quality (all chicken breast in the chicken & veg) and flavoursome. Admittedly, special fried rice was fairly ordinary, bu it's cheaper for 2 than plain steamed rice. 2 soft drinks, rice & 2 mains cost $54, and... More

Admittedly, we only bought a S&S Pork and Spec Fried Rice, but the rice was rather gluggy and the S&S sauce was just that...runny sauce without any pineapple, onion, capsicum, etc. I felt a bit ripped off.

We had a takeaway dinner meal each which was not only delicious but also generous in portion size. Will certainly go there again if in Bordertown.
