Hmm

For a takeaway lunch, we found the food to be overpriced (which explained the $8 minimim chips!). But it does look like a great place to eat in for breakfast or dinner.

The fish was off and chips over cooked. All food was drenched in oil. No taste to any of the food. Would not recommend at all!

We had such a great meal at Fishes on my first visit last year that we returned when visiting the Island last Friday. We were not disappointed. The food was great. Really fresh bugs, prawns and huge sea scallops as well ad fresh fish. We'll be back.

We had some visiting Chinese travellers who wanted to know more about the tourism activities on the Island so we took them and showed them around. We stopped at Fishes for lunch and we devoured fresh tiger prawns, Moreton Bay bug tails, whiting fillets, chunky chips and a variety of sauces and salads. An absolute treat!

These guys could charge a fortune but they dont. Friendly service, great atmosphere and fantastic location. The hot chocolate here is amazing too! Chuffed with this spot!

Really fast service! Fish was amazing. Was a bit pricey but as the fish was super fresh I was willing to pay that! Pinapple fritter was slightly soggy and not very nice but everything else was really yummy! Would return

A group of us had dinner on Friday at Fishes. The food was really good and the lady playing guitar was excellent made us stay for an extra bottle of wine.

We had breakfast here twice and would recommend it to anybody. Free WIFI access - very convenient! Unfortunately we didn't have the time to come back in the evening!

Visited this place with the kids for some burgers. Ordered 3 of their Freshly Made House Burgers & a kids burger with chips. B-O-R-I-N-G .... It was basically a bun, pattie, gourmet lettuce and tomato with bbq sauce for $14 per burger I expected much more, something like the description on the menu of including beetroot and caramalised onion maybe....
