Breaky not so good

After reading the breakfast reviews i thought the Canadian pancakes would be a good option. Sadly disappointed that the pancake was cut in half burnt on the bottom and more like an oily biscuit! Hubby's poached eggs were firm but he liked the mushys and sourdough toast .. On the positive side the... read more

We had breakfast here twice and would recommend it to anybody. Free WIFI access - very convenient! Unfortunately we didn't have the time to come back in the evening!

It was basically a bun, pattie, gourmet lettuce and tomato with bbq sauce for $14 per burger I expected much more, something like the description on the menu of including beetroot and caramalised onion maybe.... Great takeaway fish and chips. Arrived early to avoid the lunch crowds of the weekend. Others' plated meals looked great. Will try eating in next time.

Very casual vibe at this restaurant even at night, thongs and shorts always makes for a happy hubby. Pretty good food, byo wine, very reasonably priced and on Saturday night they have live music.

We wanted some fresh local seafood so gave Fishes a try. The ciders were great (a pint for only $6.50) and the fish, calamari and scallops were fresh. Slightly more expensive than what we're used to but worth it. Only complaint is that they're a bit slack in clearing and cleaning tables. Service was quick considering it was a weekend.... More

I always start my review by saying that because my wife and I are Coeliacs we naturally look for gluten free options and this restaurant was very impressive with it's grilled barracuda and crispy chips with salad with an iced coffee was very reasonable indeed. Speedy service with a smile, we went away well satisfied.

Having craved pancakes for a few mornings we found this place and it was very busy. Picked up a table and ordered at the counter and coffees was served quick. Coffee was good and well above average but not exquisite. Pancake options were good and the Canadian pancake breakfast was exactly what we were chasing. Pricing was decent and meals... More
