My girlfriend and I ate at Himalayan Delicacies on Saturday night the 27/12/14. We both found the food delicious, and my advice is to try the mixed entree because it was flavoursome and unique. The meals came quickly and the meal sizes were very generous (in fact we couldn’t finish ours, as much as we wanted to) for a good... More

What a great little restaurant! The service was attentive and the dishes were full of flavour! We popped in before catching a movie and had one of the best meals from a little restaurant in ages. Next time we will stay a little longer to try out some of the desserts. The Restaurant is BYO and very very reasonable in... More

I had noticed this restaurant a fair while ago and it piqued my interest, but I always tended to stick to my regulars in southport. I finally checked it out recently for takeaway and was annoyed at myself for taking so long to try it out! The potato salad was fresh, the lamb Bhutan succulent and tasty but it was... More

We've been on the Gold Coast on holidays for five weeks and this was by far the best meal we've experienced so far. The staff were very attentive and the food scrumptious. We had a mixed entree which allowed us to experience four different flavours. We followed this with Chilli Chicken and Lamb Bhuttan. We have another three weeks before... More

One of the most underrated restaurants on the gold coast. Great food, amazing service. My partner and I are always back here when we get a craving for Chilli chicken.

Found this gem by chance but worth seeking out. All staff are Nepalese and are keen to interact. This is our second visit within a week and it is highly recommended. Ask for at least 'medium' strength hotness when ordering dishes. The maha bhanta, steamed momo, lamb bhuttan and chilli chicken are all recommended. Value for money. BYO.

I have dined here twice now, and loved it both times. The food is beautiful, service is greatgood and the prices are good. I would definitely recommend this place. Being in Southport Central is very handy to the residents in the towers above :)

My partner and I were very excited to find a Nepalese restaurant so close, as we recently visited Nepal. We weren't overly happy with the experience. The decor needs improvement. It has the potential to add culture and atmosphere with Tibetian/Himalayan decorations (prayer flags etc). The vege Momos (A favourite in Nepal) were delicious, however my noodle soup was bland;... The Himilayan Delicacies, is located in one of the three Large buildings, in downtown Southport. The restaurant has been operating for sometime, but there new management has brought about subtle changes ( so they tell me ) however what i liked was the friendly staff, the reasonable prices and the variety. Over a period of two days I tried a... More
