I have been going to Banjo's for quite a few years as I used to travel to Tasmania a fair bit on business. I was pleased to see one in Redcliffe when I moved into the area. This is a bakery style cafe and being a Tasmanian business the food is pretty good and it is not expensive either. Good... More

The one shining light about this place was the flavours, which admittedly were excellent... but the list of complaints is as long as my arm. Small portion sizes, terrible service, limited menu, unfriendly staff, long wait, food brought out before drinks, did I mention TERRIBLE service? Don't bother coming here, there are much better places within 100m.

Really good coffee and lovely Danish pastries - really good pastry Friendly helpful girls serving. Pigeons fly in and eat the crumbs off the floor.

I have to update my earlier review of Banjos, which was quite favourable, because this place has 'gone off' big time! I hadn't stopped by for a little while, and the first thing I noticed was a hefty price increase of several dollars on all items on the breakfast menu. I wasn't happy about it, but nonetheless, I ordered the... More

Was stopping close by and was looking for a bakery to provide fresh bread in the mornings for my families breakfasts. Came across this place whilst wandering along the front. The staff were very helpful, and after the first loaf of pasta doh was devoured over breakfast I never looked at trying anywhere else. We tried other breads and buns... More

Almost walked right this place, from the outside it looks like just another cafe on the front. But it's a bakery and cake shop too. Nice fresh products, brekky and even soup for Mum!

Poor service, food. It was Mother's Day - so I expected to wait. But after 45 minutes I had enough. Lucky I asked for a receipt, as I had to poor we ordered. They $$$. when we did get it, the eggs (poached) were rock hard. The bacon was cold and tomatoes ($2.50 extra) were raw. They were the least... More

I went to Banjos for breakfast and for the 2 of us the cost was $35 which is reasonable if the food is good, however the food was cold and very average. Easily something I could have made at home in a couple of minutes. The best thing about this restaurant was the view of the ocean.

Banjo's is a Tasmanian Bakery-cafe' which has alot of yummy foods. They have freshly-baked blueberry house cakes, delicious scones, sausage rolls, pies, cold drinks and coffees. (I like the coke and pie deal the best. I usually get a blueberry housecake for desert. They are really yummmy!!

We have had coffee, pies and danishes here a few times and haven't been disappointed so far. Friendly staff and tasty products.
