Well worth walking a little further along Vittorio Emanuele

If you are staying towards the centre of Trapani, it is well worth walking a little further along Vittorio Emanuele - walking quickly past the tourist-focussed restaurants to Salamureci for a much higher quality meal at a good price. The food is fabulous - for me the fish cous cous (the signature... read more

Dined outsside. Got a soup that was ok and a pasta that was good. The glass of white wine was well tempered and good.

We stumbled on to this restaurant on one of our many walks. It represents Sicilian dining at its finest. We started with Tagliolini di calamari and were inclined to order it again because it was that delicious. My insalata mediterreana was a welcomed change from the insalata miata that I've ordered for the last month. Pesto Verde was a great... More

We were in Trapani for 4 days and our B&B recommended the restaurant. We came without reservation ( better to make a reservation) and were helped fashionably. Great fish soup and great swordfish steak; my partner had the carpaccio of fish and spagatella. Big plate and very nice! Good bottle of wine and we left very satisfied and happy, will... More

This restaurant was set up by out tour group and I am very glad they did. We had a group of 15 people and we ate in a beautiful courtyard. The owner was very gracious and went out of his way to make us happy. The food and wine were terrific and the setting very very nice. We had a... More

We were so lucky to happen upon this place while exploring the city off our boat. It was a clean and welcoming restaurant with a garden courtyard. The bilingual menu we saw was in Italian and English, and the owner was keen to check his translations plus learn some new words with us. The seafood sampler appetizer had more food... More

I have been to this restaurant with two of my friends. We visited Trapani about two weeks ago and the hotel we were lodging at suggested we dine at this restaurant. We went for lunch and we were told that the kitchen will open in half an hour. We were greeted with a delicious dish on the house it was... More

We sampled this restaurant on the advice of our B&B host - and we were not disappointed. We arrived one evening without a reservation, but the manager managed to find us a table in the delightful courtyard garden after a short wait. He gave us a delicious sparkling wine to sample while we waited. We weren't hungry enough for the... More

I had 3 very different and typical Trapanese/Sicilian courses with a vino bianco locale during a 1.5-hour lunch. Everything was phantastic. Worth making even a larger detour to go there and enjoy their cuisine. Probably one of the best restaurants in western Sicily.
