This restaurant is not in the center, but worth visiting! The pasta's are great and tasteful and the fish is really fresh. We had a great evening :-)

The first time my husband and I dined at Dolce Vita, I was fairly concerned about getting a table, as I sensed from the reviews that the place was small and popular. My husband tried to call and he even walked over to the restaurant in the afternoon to make a reservation, but no contact was made. As we approached... More

Spent 4 nights in Trapani and ate here 3 times for the excellent value (no cover charge!!!!!!)tasty food and feeling that I was not in a tourist trap being milked. Had something different every time and not disappointed once.

A cosy place, busy with families and local people and we were lucky to get a table. There was a menu, then the waiter comes and tells you which dishes they have cooked today! We had antipasti from a buffet, then a huge plate of pasta each, Chris's with mushrooms and walnuts and mine with fish roe and cherry tomatoes,... More

Are you looking for real sicilian food? Great meals at good prices? Authentic and not tourist atmosphere? Then, don’t hesitate, go there. We have a ‘not going twice to the same place while on holiday’ rule, but this place made us to broke it. And definitely the second one was even better than the first one. Unluckily we couldn’t spend... More

After ten days in Sicily we can conclude - this was the best restaurant we went to. Nice people, nice waiter and nice prices, too. Try the pasta with gorgonzola and rucola if it's on the menu. And the red house wine - great !

We really enjoyed our meal at La Dolce Vita, a friendly and casual restaurant located a short bus ride down Via Fardella (or perhaps a 20 minute walk from Trapani's old town). After a warm greeting by staff, we decided on a busiate pasta dish and squid-ink spaghetti, both lovely. For the secondo, we couldn't decide how we wanted our... More

Second time on holiday in Trapani and I just could not miss the chance to go and have dinner here again. Tucked away from the main street (just a short 2' walk) this is an excellent place to have great food for an amazing price. So much cheaper in comparison with the places touristic places in the old part of... More

Service was very good, the food was affordable and very good. Typical Sicilian food and I'm happy I went to this restaurant. People go to Italy and always want the same (pasta and pizza), we had a good surprise trying the typical sicilian food. The restaurant caters to locals, mostly. Despite that, the staff speak English and were very nice... More
