Very Good

We went for dinner and managed to get a table without booking. Extensive choice of menu which is usually a bad sign but everything was very good. We actually had a 4 course menu and wine chosen by our waiter, followed by coffee and a gift of a couple of glasses of local almond liqueur which was... read more

We ate at this restaurant on our last day in Trapani ... Wonderful ambience and the food is excellent. We ate fresh pasta as the first plate and we tried the fresh fish soup and prawn and calamari screwer, both were cooked to prefection :) They also offer a passito wine at the end of the meal.

I went there with my wive and altought all tables were full, the waiter managed somehow to get us a table to share with another couple. No problem for us. I had a Trapani pasta, my wife had a mussle soup. We drank a nice red wine. The bill was about 33€ which I think is absolutely ok. I would... More

Suggested by a friend of a friend's (never to trust again!) it is an old place with a tired look and even more a tired cook. Service confused. The famed pasta alla trapanese was floating on a tastless sauce, the prawns skewers were inedible. We didn't go any further, paid a steep bill for the worst meal in Sicily and... More

Tables both outside and inside, I was inside. I have eaten here a couple of times and it is always very lively! The place is rustic and the food is too. Tons of atmosphere and the staff are good. Great for a fun night out!

We had lunch here last month - great place to do so as the tables are outside in the middle of the square under an awning. The food was simply amazing and very fresh - excellent pasta, dentice fillet (or was it grouper?) with pistachio and almonds dressing for mains (one of the best fish dishes I have ever tasted),... The tables are set under a huge awning in the middle of a square. The seating is casual "al fresco". On a warm Sicilian summer evening, a mix of locals and tourists bustle about. Despite the crowd and the noise, the waiters are polite, present, and swift. Francesco's reception and welcome is the only voice that reaches above all, trumpeting... More

Booked a table at this restaurant upon recommendation of the hotel-keeper - we did not regret it. We had an array of very good antipasti and excellent mains consisting in fish couscous. The desserts were also very tasty and evidently very fresh. You cannot go wrong with cassata but this was really good. A very good restaurant indeed. Book ahead... More

Also one of my favourite restaurants in Trapani. No nonsense, fresh sea food, served by an enthusiastic, well-oiled staff. Try the specials!
