The Vicoletto is a small room but of character, the right place for a choice of quality and definitely never boring. The kitchen is full of great flavors, the perfect combination of traditional foods, absolutely fresh and first quality, has combined expertise with a warm atmosphere, the elegance of the details with the foods, flavors and wines expertly researched. Really interesting gastronomic proposals that favor the Sicilian and Mediterranean cuisine in general; the dishes are made with seasonal products that are matched carefully to the catch of the day, personally chosen by the owners. Really very original, with a touch of elegance and yet informal restaurant that makes Al Vicoletto the ideal place to spend a pleasant evening with friends over good and juicy dish.

Nice feeling

Pleasant dinig room with tables well spaced Generous portions and hearty food Service OK Average wine Italian patrons appear to order better dishes than I did. Mussels were very good but my mackerel was drowning in olive oil and tomatoes destroying its own savor. Nice atmosphere altogether..

Very warm welcome, great service! Oh, and the food, order whatever the waiter suggests. he is on the money! We started with gamberi crudo. Then a house pasta. Both magnificent...washed down with a 2004 Trapanese cabernet for only 22 Euro.

Went here with high expectations because of excellent tripadvisor reviews. Should have listened to our B&B hostess....every course was not more than average. Started with tasteless seafood, pasta was overdone (most probably not freshly cooked but re-heated), swordfish too thin (cooked from frozen?). I guess this restaurant gets a bit lazy from all these excellent reviews...

Finding this darling little gem is part of the fun of Al Vicoletto! To describe the location as "a bit off the beaten path" is an understatement, but it is well worth the adventure! In fact, the restaurant is quite close to the main pedestrian pathways, but it is on a tiny side street and you have to ring the... More

Highly recommended. Finding it is a bit tricky, but well worth the effort. The food is beyond excellent. The waiter was courteous and very friendly. All in all very good value and a pleasant experience.

We went here twice during our stay in Trapani, The owner, Daniele, was very knowledgable and we had some great food. The mixed antipasti fish platter was amazing and the wines that were recommended really complimented the food. Will definitely go back next time we are in Trapani.

This has been an incredibly good dinner. The food was extremely well prepared and presented. We had the antipasti della casa (mixed fish antipasti which were really superbly executed). Our "mains" were in fact pasta dishes which were very well prepared and presented. Plate-lickingly good, I would say. We skipped a main course proper because we wanted to sample their desserts... Literally a bit of a hidden treasure, where you can dine in a pleasant environment. I wonder how it´s possible that Daniele is able to be as enthusiastic for many years! It is always a delight to go to Al Vicoletto, we try to go at least once, every time we visit Trapani!

We found this restaurant by reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a go. You must make a reservation orherwise you simply wont get a table. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome from our host and owner, a young local with a clear passion for the local food and with an incredible know how. Service... More

We were impressed on arrival but left very disappointed. Having received a lovely welcome, help choosing local wines and advice on menu selections we anticipated a special evening, particularly given the good reviews on Tripadvisor. We started with a delicious raw and cooked seafood starter to share but from then on it was a letdown. That awkward silence that descends... More
