When we arrived the place was quiet for a lunch time. the order was made after quite a wait but this was due to the delicious bread being baked and ready for us. A pity the rest of the order was average and we still had to wait for ages. The very friendly waiter seemed quite distracted and not on the... More

We were taken care of, more like a guest than customer. All dishes was genuine and homemade. That includes the wine and olive oil. Taxi from Sunwing resort was 10€. I love to come back and strongly recommend everyone to go there.

Lovely food, service, atmosphere and views. Good idea to have a car to get here. We went because of the tripadvisor reviews and they were correct.

Not a lot of people know that nearly all the food is grown/caught by the owner making everything fresh and organic. The food is delicious and this place has a small playground

Lovely location with superb food and great value. We had a family dinner . The grandchildren could play in the playpark while the adults just enjoyed a great evening

This is the best place we have eaten in crete and one of the best we have visited in many trips to crete. Food is seasoned well and cooked well. Other reviewers comment re service probably was a busy night and then they are hard pushed with 2 people to keep up the service. We have visited many times and... More

The setting of this taverna really can't be beaten and high enough to give a welcome breeze in the heat. We were made to feel welcome and they were so friendly and warm, nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely, the fish brought out and shown to us before it was cooked & smaller portions accomadated for the... More

One the best taverna we have visited, so much that we booked again for our last night. Great welcoming, fabulous sunset but even better is the food. Fresh and lighter than in many places. Nice mezze with home grown olives, stuffed courgettes flowers, light cougettes dumplings, etc.. Lamb that was lamb and not old mutton. A must in the area

Visited one evening in July after reading recommendations and were not disappointed! Friendly owner who explained the menu fully. All vegetables were home grown and the wine was made on the premises. Opted for mezes ( tomato balls were delicious) and fish. Very nice
