Fantastic view of the sound and good food

Views were great and the sound was calm when we were there in April. The fried Mahi sandwich was great and fish tacos were yummy! Fries were good. Watermelon beer was tasty! Seating available inside and out. Would stop by here again.

We enjoyed boiled shrimp and a "hot mess" here today. Craft beers and a lucky viewing of kite surfing just off the deck were a special treat!

We've been here several times with groups from 4 to 10 people, never disappointed. This is always a favorite. Daily specials are intriguing and good.

We've hit most of the places in Nags Head and KDH, so we took a drive down to Rodanthe to check this place out -- and we're so glad we did. Great laid-back atmosphere in a great location. The sunset was beautiful, but the food was the best part. Everything was wonderful, from soup & scallops for appetizers to the... More

You gotta look for this place, upstairs in a commercial setting, downtown Rodanthe (MilePost 40), good seafood. We split the bacon wrapped scallop appetizer (4 scallops), and a "Ginormous" serving of fish and chips (swai, will switch to Mahi mahi later in the season). Beer selection was limited (maybe to be expected for a wine bar) and the help was... More

Great views from the balcony and the food was pretty good. Edaname and spicy Asian shrimp hit the spot. Would come back next time we are down this way

My daughter & I sneaked out of the beach house that we were sharing with 15 other people. We shopped in Kitty Hawk Kites, and the guy working told us that you were open :) We were looking for somewhere to eat and kill some time, before returning to that noisy house full of relatives. We were greeted by the... More

We had to hunt to find this little gem of a restaurant, but it was well worth it. I always surprised at the prices. They seemed a little high, even for OBX standards. But my husband and I shared a Plate of fried, fish, scallops and shrimp. It came with slaw, hush puppies and fries. Overall, a very good meal.

We visited here when they first opened a bunch of years ago and were not impressed. That has all changed. The formerly slow service is now efficient and friendly. The food was always good-but now it's GREAT, and comes out fast. I took a little while to decide what I wanted because there are so many things on the menu... More

This place is all about atmosphere! If you want lunch or dinner while enjoying a great view of the sound, it doesn't get better than this. The food was pretty good, a bit expensive, but the portions were large. They made a martini for me that wasn't on the menu and it was great, I would have liked to try... More
