Went on a Saturday night about 7:30 pm. Not a clean table or booth in the entire restaurant. Had to sit at dirty table and wait for waiter to clean it off. Took 45 minutes to order and receive burger, fries. The soft drink came fast. It appeared that waiter/waitress also fix all ice cream and milkshakes as well as... More

Walked over to the Highway Diner while staying at the Country Inn and Suites. Our waitress Lovie made the meal even better with her happy smiling attitude. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and delicious. My husband forgot his glasses and one of the other ladies came running after us to return them to him. We can't wait to... More

These guys have figured it out. Good food with variety, good service (smiles all around), decent prices, and retro decor. Had dinner, we both had the specialty burger with fried green tomatoes ( YOU NEED TO ASK FOR ANYTHING LESS THAN MED-WELL), cooked just right. Even the fries and onion rings were good. Sheena took care of us with a... More

Looking for a lunch place off of 95 ....Not a fast food type of person - hardly anywhere to go ... went off the beaten track for a good breakfast type lunch --- worth going an extra 5 minutes.

Very nice, comfortable diner. Everything you'd expect and more from a roadside eatery. Very well spoken and presentable staff and every food option was delicious. Couldn't have asked for more.

Good value for money. Typical southern menu and friendly ambiance. Well prepared food and plentiful; blueberry pie was particularly good. Crowded on a Sunday at lunchtime and service was somewhat slow.

This is a cute old-fashioned looking diner but is much bigger than it looks from outside. Great fried green tomatoes and big good sandwiches. I can't have desserts but friend said her apple pie was delicious. I think desserts are homemade; they all looked great. Waitress was so nice and friendly and made great recommendations. Wish I had a Highway... More

very good quality diner food. Despite being busy was served very quickly. Breakfast and lunch are both a good quantity and tasty selections. The decor takes you back to 1959 - go if you haven't been.
