Great For Date Night

My husband and I love both North Hills for the atmosphere and Firebirds for the same and for the delicious food! Although it's a bit of a drive from the Wakefield area and not cheap, it's well worth it. Needless to say, Firebirds is a favorite in the date night rotation.

Just a stop over to stretch my legs and grab a bite. Nice atmosphere but I felt slightly intimidated...not sure why....woman all by her self....maybe not young enough or dressed 'up' but felt out of place. I was hoping they would have some gluten free items which they didn't have much so ordered a veggie plate. 3 veggies for $17.50.... More

Let me start off by saying that my only complaint was about the drink prices. A large glass of wine for $12 is just too much. Besides that, everything was perfect. The bread, salad and entree were all delicious. I had Mahi which was cooked to perfection. My Son had coconut shrimp which he loved. A great meal and a... More

We really enjoyed Firebirds! Only negative note is the drinks are on the high side at the bar, so would consider having drinks elsewhere before arriving here. Wine selection and cost is on par with other restaruants of this caliber. The fire grilled sirloin steak and salmon entrees were excellent. One of our foursome had the prime rib, which looked... First of all, I make a distinction between "pricey" and "overpriced." Firebirds is, I think, a little pricey, but my food was so good it was worth $16 for a sandwich! Deliciously tender steak sliced thin and "piled high," as they say. The apple cider cole slaw was fabulously different - wish I could make slaw like that! I am... More

This restaurant is a wonderful place to eat at. I had the grilled mahi fish. It had a delicious topping and the Yukon gold mashed potatoes were wonderful. My daughter had the fish tacos with a side of green beans. She enjoyed her food immensely. The onion rings which we had as an appetizer were crunchy and tasty.I fully enjoyed... More

We went here early evening mid-week with family from out of town and to celebrate a birthday. We were a party of eight. I called directly to make the reservations because I wanted to do something a little extra for the birthday. The person who answered the phone told me that in order to make reservations for a party of... More

From the atmosphere to the food, Firebirds has never disappointed. I usually order a chili coated steak with fried spinach, MMMMMM my mouth waters just thinking about it. Parking around the restaurant is a little tough but there is a garage underneath that a lot of people miss.

Took my sister, who was visiting from Austin, Texas. She took advantage of the restaurant week menu and loved her selection! I had the Prime Rib & my wife had the Salmon, both cooked perfectly & delicious! Those garlic mashed potatoes were fantastic! Once again the service was first class & the ambience just right! Keep doing what u r... More
