Good Food and Great Comedy All In One Spot

We went to Goodnights Comedy to see Bruce-Bruce and decided to dinner as well before the show. Excellent idea! We both had the NY strip steak it comes with fries and seasonal veggies and it was very good and seasoned very well the whole meal. They also have a great variety of Appetizers and if you... read more

We had a little bit of a hard time trying to find this. We had the address in GPS and it took us right to the building but on the back of it was a sign for something else and in the front we did not see a for anything (until we got out later – there was a tent... More

We arrived at 6:45 for the 7:30 show and got in line to pick up our tickets since they do not allow print at home or smart phone tickets. The line did not move. There was a "security" personnel working but he just stood there. Never spoke to the crowd or let anyone know what was going on. Nothing. Then... More

This is a nice little comedy club but $9 for a drink? I'll go back now that it's under new management and update if it's changed. The management there needs to control the drunks and bachelorette parties there so the performers can perform. 3 shows I saw and all were interrupted by drunk morons.

Our New Years tradition is an early night of laughs, then home to ring in new year with the kids. There are 2 early shoes & 1 late show. We didn't eat there this year. They could have used extra wait staff as we would ordered more if the waitress had come by our tables more often.

I went to see comedian Ralphie May. When I arrived I thought, wow this place looks small! But it was well organized and the night I went it was well staffed and everything went very smooth. I was pleased. The only thing I didn't like was the maze you have to go through to try and find the bathroom, which... More

Several years ago my spouse and I took some out of town guests to Goodnights Comedy Club for dinner and a show. We were very surprised with how good the food was. Well, last weekend the same guests came back to town and we decided we'd revisit Goodnights. Sadly, it was not at all what we remembered. The club and... More

Everyday fare, did not expect anything else from there considering it to be mainly into the comedy acts.

I used to be a big fan of this place but I was more than pissed last night. Every since the management changed this place is ridiculous. When the old owner managed the club, there was only a convenience fee and not a bunch of add on fees as if you are purchasing from ticket master. I was over that... More

Just like you'd expect in a big city. High quality, and sometime name comics working the circuit in a small club. No seat is really bad. Food and drinks are fine and not terribly overprices. Free parking lot. Near the heart of downtown Raleigh and near NC State Univ. campus. We've had lots of laughs there.
