An all-around excellent lunch.

This is a hard place to pigeon-hole. The entrees are priced above $20, so--- by my own definition--- this is fine dining. But, it has a more casual feel to it. I give it 4.5 stars. Really like this place. Two items they will always make for you that are NOT on the menu: soft pretzels and cheese & potato... More

We had a good experience here, but with a few drawbacks. The restaurant itself is comfortable and attractive. Our server was very professional and helpful. The menu has many unusual and enticing entries. The chopped salad was delicious, as was the mushroom soup. Both of these dishes were surprisingly very flavorful and unique. We shared one of the specials of... More

Four of us enjoyed the food very much. The fresh and smoked kielbasa plate with kraut and fries was out of this world delicious. The pierogis and kielbasi sampler plate was equally delicious. The cold tea with the sugar water on the side was extremely flavorful. The dark beer was outstanding. The server was very knowledgeable (might be an owner... More

Went for weiner schnitzel and they only had a pork schnitzel which was a very very poor imitation. Don't know who made it, must have been a trainee. Came with very average warm German potato salad. Nice restaurant, nice service, but will not return for below average food.

I have been here numerous times since I moved to the area bout two years ago and have yet to have anything other than an excellent meal here. The food, German and Polish inspired, is always excellent, and the waitstaff seals the deal. Good for solo diners, couples, families with teenagers, or groups.

Our group all loved our meals, served attentively. Great sausage and pierogi apps- 3 for our table of 7. Venison meatball goulash, quail, hickory butternut pasta, the duck special- all amazing flavors. Loved the spaetzle on the side. Everyone tasted others' dishes. No room for dessert. Tiny place, make your reservation, go find it, and become a believer in German/polish... More

While the first impression of this place wasn't great - the room decor needs refreshing - we were completely won over by the food and service. In particular, the venison meatball was phenomenal - hearty, perfectly seasoned, with soft home-made spaetzle. Not the coolest place to eat, but well worth a visit if you're in the mood for northern European... More

We visited Betski's with family and enjoyed a nice German/Polish lunch. The food was well done both in taste and presentation. Wine and beer choices were very good as well. Though the restaurant promotes itself having German food, most of the choices were a combination of German and Polish. Our server was polite but lacked a friendliness that would make... More

Six of us shared a variety of sausages and pierogies for appetizers - very substantial and delicious. The specials were excellent and the weiner schnitzel was authentic and delicious. Finished with desserts. A great evening with an especially accommodating staff and ambiance. Well worth a visit for a German culinary experience in Raleigh.
