I have been to Vivace several times, and decided to review based on my last trip. Our waitress did not know up from down. She had difficulties explaining specials and making recommendations. She neglected our table. The food was very good--not excellent. My friend had a pasta dish, and I had minestrone soup and spinach salad. The tart we ordered... More

A friend suggested the pizza at Vivace. We were out and about on this very chilly Spring day. Easter is tomorrow. We arrived mid-afternoon and were greeted warmly and seated in a very nice place. The service was swift and friendly. We decided to split the pizza and we each got a drink. Wine selections were nice and they make... More

Good food, excellent service, huge collection of Italian wines and good for vegetarians. We went for a birthday dinner and they treated us really nice. They allowed us to eat almost an hour after their closing time after which we left because we felt guilty :) Really a nice place to enjoy meals with friends and family.

My wife and I recently shared a great dining experience here with another couple. From the moment we arrived, everyone was pleasant and smiling, which goes a long way to starting the evening off right! Our server Josh was relaxed, but professional, and provided excellent service throughout the night. After we provided some background info on likes and dislikes, his... More

Unbelievable wine list! Food, ambience, and service were all top notch. We had the calamari, a caprese salad, and a sea bass special. All were delicious. Portions were not huge, but more than we could finish. We shared a perfect tiramisu. Highly recommend.

Creative food, attentive staff, and beautiful restaurant - We love it every time! The wine list was amazing as well - one of the best Italian lists on the east coast.

Sunday brunch at 12 and it took 18 minutes to get coffee. No apology just a matter a fact "we ran out of cups". Asked for some jam for bread. "Sorry no jam" Food okay but not for the money. Would not go back. Staff was indifferent.

We went here on Valentine's and I guess I was expecting more. Due to the snow and ice conditions we opted for a lunch instead of dinner. We found the place MUCH smaller than the pictures indicated and not very "warm". The service was incredibly slow, and seemed unenthusiastic about serving us, despite it being Valentine's Day. The food was... More

Had an amazing dinner celebrating the Feast of Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve 2013. It was a bit non-traditional with fresh anchovies, swordfish, shrimp arancini, grilled mussels, cured salmon, scallop cioppini and black linguini with calamari

Sensational service and quality food. Restaurant was packed but service remained high. Excellent operation. Highly recommend.
