Nice bar to stop at. Not too fancy and not a hole in the wall. Very friendly people and the foods not to die for but good bar food.

Obviously they have a great beer selection and always have something new to try. The atmosphere is fun and they have a nice outdoor seating area. The service is great and the food is a step above your typical pub grub.

This place has a huge selection of beers but if you're more of a liquor guy like me, you'll be on your own. Our server wasn't really knowledgable about the beers on tap and made a couple of poor suggestions. They do allow you to sample so you might want to do that if you're not a craft beer enthusiast.... I've been visiting this Saucer for years and was moved to review it when they redid their food menu. The salads and sandwiches have improved. You still can't beat a good basket of cheese fries with the best beer in town. But this place also offers a nice patio with excellent service and some fine food. I recommend the cheese... More

A huge selection of beers on tap, in the bottle, and maybe even in a cask. If you like good beer and tasty food. Head over and enjoy a cold beer and friendly staff.

Ok. I admit it. My family calls me a beer snob and they're right. What can I say, I like beer with flavor and if you can't find something you like here you're not looking. I'm not sure of the exact number but they have more on tap than most bars I have been to carry beers. Combine them with... More

If you want to drink it, they likely have it on tap or in bottles.....WOW!! The pub food is great and the saucer girls provide all the scenery you need. Pubs come and go, but the Saucer is the place for good times and great beer. Nice outdoor patio too!

Where's Guy Fieri? Because this dive is one heck of a place. Flying Saucer has over 200 beers available with an extension and VERY informative drink menu, you have something for everyone's taste. The beers aren't the only things this place has going for it, though. The menu is equally as ambitious, with items ranging from Korean meatballs and a... More

The Flying Saucer was a pretty neat bar with an extensive beverage selection. My wife and I were in town for the O.A.R. concert and stopped by for a drink before and after the concert. That night we also had the chips and dip and fries. The best part of the bar is the huge selection! On Sunday they have... More

The Flying Saucer is a Raleigh stable. This is the place where the beer culture in Raleigh originated. With over 80 beers on tap and hundreds in the bottle, if you can't find one you like here you are simply not trying. The food is average...with a couple of exceptions. The cheese fries are very nice. You can also get... More
