The Flying Saucer was a pretty neat bar with an extensive beverage selection. My wife and I were in town for the O.A.R. concert and stopped by for a drink before and after the concert. That night we also had the chips and dip and fries. The best part of the bar is the huge selection! On Sunday they have... More

The Flying Saucer is a Raleigh stable. This is the place where the beer culture in Raleigh originated. With over 80 beers on tap and hundreds in the bottle, if you can't find one you like here you are simply not trying. The food is average...with a couple of exceptions. The cheese fries are very nice. You can also get... More

I'm not a beer drinker, but food was really great. Others at my table really enjoyed what they ordered, so I know it wasn't just my dish that was excellent.

This place is too great! We had a blast reading the different plates on the wall. The inside reminds me of a German beer garden and you can actually get beer that isn't craft here! Great selection, great place.

I love this place and visit in any city I visit that has one. Lots of great beer selection, good service most of the time, and better bar food than you'll get most places. Once you join the UFO club, the membership pays for itself in the deals you get. Had a private party there last night and loved the... More

Over 80 beers on draft and that is really fun! It is a large place with a great atmosphere and nice staff that are very helpful. A place to hang out and relax. It is also only a block from the Holiday Inn Downtown which is great if you are at a week long conference and need to unwind. Did... More

Spent an entire Sunday afternoon at Flying Saucer last weekend. Warm, sunny day. Lots of folks stopped in after their bike rides or runs. Very good appetizers, plenty large enough to share. Try the Korean Meatballs, served in a sizzling skillet with lots of yummy sauce. Lots of good beers to choose from. Look UP! The plates with their sayings... More

There are over 200 beers and 100 of them are on tap. They also have a Sunday Brunch should you be out running errands and want a place to stop by. The Ruben is by far the best I have ever had and they have jalapeno tater tots that rock! It is always busy and the wait staff is great!
