Lunch on a Saturday

Went here on the recommendation of some locals. Great selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles. Small menu of german-themed cuisine. Had the Sheboygan Side-by-Side Brat and was very pleased.

A big, open layout makes this place bigger than it looks from outside. Fast and knowledgeable staff put us on brews we'd never had but loved. One could spend days reading the saucers lining the walls and ceiling, with messages from former patrons, and still not get to all if them! Overall, a great pub atmosphere with enough rotating taps... More

2.75 pint night is the bomb. The place can get crowded, but you get a chance for a great price to try tons of different kinds of beer. If you drink enough you can aspire to place your name on the wall as so few others have done. Best of luck in your journey, for the night is dark and... More

I've eaten here several times when working in town as it is close to the office. Every time I eat here the food is good. They have a good selection on the menu and I've never been disappointed.

I love this place. I probably visit about once a week. Lots and lots of different beers and great food. Be careful when ordering beer. Some are very pricey and unless you check the price first you could be in for an unpleasant surprise. It can also get very loud inside when it's crowded.

Fun place simple menu German theme, but it's all about the beer and Ale. Fifty or more on draft and hundreds in bottles and cans. Amazing! If you don't drink beer or Ale, I would rate it a three. Outside as well as inside dining

Large selection of craft beers was excellent. It's your basic neighborhood pub; nothing fancy but a great place to kick back and relax. Food was your normal fare, with some twists. Grab your mug quickly at 7:00 on Wednesday nights - they go quickly!

This is the place for you if you like Brews of any kinds. No Joke, over 100 on tap, endless list of bottles. We tried the NC Flight, 4oz samples of all brews made right in NC. Red Oak by far was the best. Cheese Fry Surprise was good, but heavy. We both had burgers, very well cooked. Thick and... More

Great stop in downtown Raleigh for a quick bite of pub food and a couple brews. The list is HUGE. There's something for everyone. I had the Bahn Mi, DELISH! Highly recommend the personal pizzas too. My companion had one. It was great. Both meals were enough for 2 people to have consumed.
