From fried green tomatoes to shrimp and grits, you'll enjoy a delicious and varied menu at reasonable prices. There are several private dining areas that can accomadate large groups as well as a rooftop dining space with a nice view of downtown Raleigh.

My husband and I ate at 18 Seaboard for our anniversary, and it was outstanding. Outstanding service, outstanding food. I had an heirloom tomato and mozzarella appetizer sourced from local farms that was seriously out of this world - it was nine months ago, and we still talk about it. It's a special occasion kind of place for us because... More

Since moving here nearly 2 years ago, this has become our go-to restaurant for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. We have yet to be disappointed. The food is always very good, the service excellent. I really like the ambience, it's dim, chic and reminiscent of New York rather than little ole Raleigh. My only comment that's even remotely negative is that they... More

The food is reliably good. It has no really distinctive character - not southern, not Mediterranean, not anything else in particular. The dining area generally is fairly quiet, so it is a good restaurant for conversation or a business dinner.

Outstanding service with late night reservation. Nice to come home to after a business trip. Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening out. Were seated quickly and service was impeccable! Meal was exactly what we have come to expect at this establishment. We even commented that we had never had a meal here that was not satisfactory! Keep up the... More

Went there twice. Food is always mediocre. Salmon is typically dry, NY strip (i like it rare) had so much marbling inside could not eat 1/2 of it. Others did not like their steak either. I was told that shrimp was good. Service is very good.

We dined here Monday 03/10/14 for a birthday celebration with our daughter and son-in -law. The food was excellent and the presentation was as well . The minute you walk in you are made to feel welcome. The staff is professional and knowledgeable and do everything to make your experience here a wonderful dining experience. Love the brick walls and... More

18 Seaboard is a fantastic place for dinner or a business/celebration lunch. Food and service are at levels one expects to pay more for, and the use of local ingredients and local adaptations of dishes is sought after. The only downside to the Seaboard complex is limited parking.

Jason Smith and his crew do an excellent job w/ often local produce/entree items. The creativity is amazing and I always feel welcome whenver I'm there. They bend over backward to make the customers feel important.

My husband and I dine here after attending the Friday Favorites of the NC Symphony. The staff is great and the wood is wonderful.
