We have dined several times at 18 Seaboard the past few years and and our recent visit was the most memorable. The Amberjack special I had was excellent. The fish was charboiled just the way I like it, very fresh, a bit dry and flaky. There is a choice of several toppings but I use toppings sparingly with a little... More

I recently had a nice lunch at 18 Seaboard. My daughter and I had the catfish which was good. The shrimp in my wife's salad was over cooked. My son had the shrimp burger which was OK. Staff was very nice. I would like to come back for dinner. Maybe that's were they get the great reviews.

I visted this restaurant on July 5th, 2014, and it was my third time dining there. I have only had outstanding meals there, and it is becoming my favorite place to go in Raleigh. Great atmosphere. I had a NY strip that was probably as good of a steak as I have had in a restaurant that I can remember.

Again it was restaurant week in the triangle and that meant a visit to 18 Seaboard. We like it anytime but its extra special during this week Once again it was excellent. Everything was delicious and the service from Brandy was outstanding. We started with two glasses of Pasqual Toso Malbeck. My wife had the Pork Loin and I had... More

Just a note to any business out there - If you are going to be closed due to renovations you might want to have some kind of notice on your website. It was very frustrating to show up there last evening for dinner only to see a sign on the door announcing that the restaurant was indeed closed.

Staffs are very very friendly. Good wine choice. The pork shank is our favorite menu. Never want to change it.

We hadn't been here for a while, and the changes were for the better. We had the catfish and the trout, both were extremely well prepared and came with some very good side dishes. The service was attentive, They have a very nice wine list and the prices were reasonable. Definitely will be back soon.

18 Seaboard for several years has been proud of its local sourcing of food and its seafood dishes have been particularly good as are the things they do with grits. We took out-of-towners from Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta and Santa Fe there for dinner and were pleased that they all enjoyed their choices. My starter of a chilled squash soup with... More

Came here on a return trip to Raleigh based on the excellent reviews. The restaurant is surprisingly large in size and somewhat sterile. The waitperson did not inform us about the specials. Otherwise, the service was okay. The wine list is expensive and our choice was not a wine we would order again. One entree came out stone cold. A... More

This is the best food and atmosphere for the money that I have been! Need reservations most anytime to be safe. The menu is original southern with a flair for uniqueness. A favorite for the locals!
