Jason's Winning Consistency

Just returned from my umpteenth lunch at 18 Seaboard. The food is always fresh, flavorful, well-but-not-over seasoned and a huge value for the cost. Service is attentive without hovering, knowledgeable and articulate -- these people know their kitchen and what's being made there. At other... read more

This isn't the usual type of place we'd eat. It is fine dining .. The food was very different. We tend to eat at places like Winstons's Grille or Firebirds. The She Crab soup is very good.. Award winning. Entree of Pamlico Shrimp & house cured jowl was tasteless. Nothing special about this dish. The house cured jowl was like... More

Beautiful dining room, quiet atmosphere, wonderful seasonal menu. Wait staff was very attentive. A small separate dining room is available for special occasions or meetings.

The food was amazing and fresh. Customer service was outstanding! Very nice dining experience. It is hard to find a restaurant with good food and service. I'm getting to an age where I'm getting picky with my taste buds and money. I dislike spending time and money at any establishments that is not worth my time. 18 Seaboard was fantastic.... More

We visit the area regularly and took a chance at 18 Seaboard The host was very accommodating as we had our young daughter with us. We had one of the best experiences at this establishment. The food was a great and the service very good We will definitely be making this a regular stop when visiting Raleigh

Went with a group of 20 women for lunch. Food was pretty good...nothing to write home about. The service was good, attentive. All in all a pleasant experience.

The food is always the best, as well as the service. Impeccable and creative are two words I use to describe the service and food at 18 Seaboard. Jason Smith, the proprietor is not only a chef, but an artisan as well.

Excellent, food, wine and service. They have a private room that seats 12-16 people at no extra charge. Great place for a small party.

Have been here several times before and meals have always been excellent. This meal was disappointing for both me and my husband. My husband ordered the tomato app and he said it was good but a lot smaller portion than in the past years. He ordered lamb and smoked tomato lasagna. The meat in the lasagna did not appear to... food was great but the menu does take you by surprise. I guess that's a good thing. We went in thinking heavy on seafood but it had a great variety of food on the menu. We went there for a date night and were pleasantly surprised.
