It's nice to find a quiet restaurant. The food is excellent, servers are attentive and accommodating. You never have to shout over the table because of high ceilings or poor acoustics.

we have been wanting to go here for a long time and we were in the area for a show at DPAC and decided to eat here. LOVED it! We thought the atmosphere was very upscale and comfortable. Our waiter was excellent. We had cocktails and they were both good - I had the Pear and Ginger Mojito and Mike... More

Went last evening w/ spouse and another couple. First impression was the dining room was a little blah. Granted, there for the food but dining room didn't have or set the best atmosphere. Service was perfect. Timely, on the spot, but didn't overdue the interaction. Server made some excellent appetizer recommendations. Appetizers and desserts were best part of the meal.... More

I had a seafood dish that was spot on, and my wife had a steak that was cooked perfect. The thing that really stood out was the service, our waitress made a great wine recommendation that was less expensive and better than the wine we were going to order. To some up, a nice dining experience.

I went here on date night and had one of the earlier reservations. Around 5:30 pm the place is pretty full so make reservations. The service was very good and knowledgeable about the menu. He was able to recommend a suitable wine paring was prompt but not overbearing with attention. Its a little upscale so I guess you could get... More

My wife and I were given a gift certificate t 18 Seaboard along with tickets to NC Symphony's concert of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue program. The restaurant has an understated elegance and features as much locally produced products as is possible without compromising the fare offered. Explaining our time constraints to our server, Kelly, proved to be all that was... More

We were greeted during the busy pre-Christmas rush by chef/owner Jason Smith. He was very gracious and even sent a small appetizer to our table to make up for a very short delay in seating us at our reserved time. It was an unnecessary but appreciated gesture. Unfortunately, I had a bit of trouble finding anything that appealed to me... More

If you are looking for a great lunch meal at a good value this is the place. Could not be more satisfied with the quality of both food and service. Looking forward to an evening

From other reveiws we read before making reservations tonight, we thought 18 Seaboard was a good choice, but soon learned it was the wrong choice for tonights dinner with my adult son and daughter. The resturant was busy as it's Christmas week, Monday night before Xmas, but service was very slow, food mediocur, and coupled with 3 of us being... More
