The only reason my girlfriend and I came to this place was that it was the closest one to us when we asked our GPS for an Italian restaurant and this was the closest. It was a lovely surprise to find that Assagio's was a very good restaurant. The service was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable with just the right amount... More

We were a party of 14 for Mothers Day lunch. Our server was excellent. Atmosphere was great, relaxed enough that the two 5yr olds could have a little freedom to visit everyone at the table without worrying about disturbing another party. I had a salad, stromboli (it was huge, could only eat half) and chocolate cannoli. The whole table got... More

We stopped by on a whim, but will make this a regular stop! The lasagna was stacked high with meat and cheese, and was some of the best I've had in a restaurant. My son had the chicken alfredo, and they didn't skimp on the sliced chicken. The garlic knots were the perfect complement. The generous portions meant we enjoyed... More

Sweet little bistro. We've lived here for 7 years and always thought it was just an Italian market, boy were we wrong! Wish we'd found it earlier. Incredible garlic knots, so much food you definitely have another meal. Very nice waitstaff. Nice wine selection and specials every night. Food is quite authentic, New York Italian. The best I've had since... More

Party of four on a Friday night. The good was authentic Italian good. Lists of fresh garlic made me think of moms cooking. We enjoyed two meat dishes and two pasta dishes. Two of us live out of town but all of us promise to return soon. The bread knots were the best eastern in many years. Having grown up... More

This is one of our frequent haunting grounds. Sometimes we eat in and sometimes we carry out. Either way, we really enjoy the food. I think the staff is very friendly and there always seems to be an energetic vibe when I walk in. Love the Eggplant Rollatini w/ Pasta. I like the pizzas as well, but sometimes I wish... More

Good value and great food, pizza and veal dishes are my favorite. Staff is friendly and this restaurant has a real neighborhood feel to it. The wine prices are very reasonable and on Tuesdays they have half-price bottles.

Have you ever eaten mall pizza or pizza from Papa Gino's? This pizza is nearly identical, with droopy crust, greasy cheese, and semi-chunky sauce. The calzones are somewhat better but far too overpriced for the size. Add some lukewarm fries and a tepid bowl of pasta with four sodas and you're out $45. Oh, and you have to pay and... More
