All I have to say is that I have never had such an amazing dining experience. Period. The service, food and atmosphere were all amazing. I miss the food already.

The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, the food extraordinary, the entire dinner was as good as we have eaten here in the Southeast. The co-owner took time to chat with us and to welcome us to this quaint and delicious eatery. 4 years ago we were lucky to travel in Paris and the South of France, and only one place... More

Fancy and intimate restaurant reminiscent of my days in NYC, impeccable service, good food, perfect place for a celebratory meal. When you arrive at the restaurant, which is situated next to a Harris Teeter and one of those Chinese restaurants with a neon sign in the front, you would assume incorrectly that there would never be a fancy and classy... We decided to try St Jacques for our anniversary and we’re glad we did. This is by far the best food we have had in Raleigh and probably the best overall meal we’ve ever had. The location fools you being in a strip mall between a Chinese takeout place and a Great Clips. St Jacques is the place to come... More

I have been fortunate to dine recently at one of the top 20-ranked restaurants in the world (Astrid y Gaston in Peru) and St Jacques is right up there. The flavors and service is outstanding. Last time I went they were no longer serving the "Vacherin" for dessert (seasonal menu change), which is my favorite. To show the level of... More

Came to eat on our anniversary. Very happy that we did! We had Foie Gras-that was on a sweet potato muffin-big enough for two. Vichyssoise. Veal Paquet. Lamb provencale. Creme Brulee. Homemade ice cream. And espresso. All were so good and such artistic presentation. The wait staff spoils you. Jordan was kind and helpful. Jordan worked around my nut and... More

No doubt that the food is the reason this restaurant is #1 in Raleigh. Fresh, simple and delicious! Great place to celebrate a special occasion! Save room for dessert!

I had the Halibut, my wife had the Sea Bass. Perfectly cooked just melted in our mouths. Their home made bread and the cheeses are fresh and tasty. The attention they give to service is absolutely over the top. This place should be on everybody's bucket list.

This place is located in a strip mall in Raleigh. Once you step inside, you are transported. The fine linen and tasteful yet simple decor remind one of something you would see in provincial France. I had a Dubonnet Royal which I had never had in my 49 years. It was a sweet/sour drink that was very good. The house... More

If you are looking for French food in Raleigh or close, don't miss St. Jacques. Lil ( the owner) and staff will speak in English or French, describe the food, select a wine and provide you a gastronomic event that you won't soon forget. Whether it is a recipe from his home region in France or dishes developed locally, the... More
