Best Mexican Restaurant

Place- This place was like no other I had ever been too. The decor was very typical of a Mexican market and all the decorations on the walls and around the restaurant were very unique and seemed to be brought in from Mexico. This place is charming, unique, the service is impeccable. The food is delicious, fresh and made with high quality ingredients - you can just tell. Yes, it's pricey compared to the run of the mill Mexican with canned food - but this is much more like the real deal and to me it was very reasonably price for what I... More

Sometimes it seems that there are more Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants in Raleigh than there are street corners to put them on. Most taste pretty much the same. Dos Taquitos clearly is different from those run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurants. The food is absolutely fantastic. I think it all starts with the atmosphere. It is tight but pleasant and well appointed. It... More

Saturday night, so a wait was to be expected. 30 minutes turned into close to an hour and a half, but we were very glad we persevered. Before we even ordered, the GM came over and personally apologized for the overly long wait, THEN offered us a free appetizer. Wow! That never happened before. What a great touch. Even better... Tamales incredibly small for a price that should have been for a dozen instead of 2, yes 2. They should be embarrassed. Tacos were average and over priced by a third. Frankly for the food as served not a value for money. Will not visit again.

This is not your typical Tex-Mex. There were things on this menu that I had not seen in the states. There was a wonderful cream of corn soup, Esquite. I opted for an enchilada trio, which were some of the best enchiladas ever. The Enchiladas de Puebla included three enchiladas - each with a different filling and topped with a... More

I have not been to this restaurant in many years. What idiocy! The salsa that comes with the chips before the meal was amazing. Chunks of tomato that tasted like they had just come off the vine. Not spicy hot, but very flavorful. I ordered the Mis Garnachas which has sweet potato patties, chorizo, avocado and much more. It was... More

This was my second time visiting and the first time was just okay (crowded and didn't like my meal as much) but the second time was amazing. We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn't as busy as our previous visit. On Tuesday's there are $3 tacos and $5 margaritas. Out service was attentive and made recommendations for our... More

I got Mis Garnachas -- loved it! Love their fresh tasting salsa. We also got the cheese dip; it is a little spicy because of the jalapeños. My fiancé got the chicken tortilla soup as a side and it was absolutely delicious!! I recommend trying the soup because you will not be disappointed.
