Great place to relax on a weekday evening

My daughter, who has lived near downtown Raleigh for several years, took me to Dos Taquitos to engage in frozen margaritas and Mexican food. We sat at an outdoor table overlooking the street, the breeze was perfect and we enjoyed frozen house margaritas ( Monday Night Special!) and plates piled... read more

I was here with my family and did not enjoy anything about this restaurant at all. They charge for chips and salsa which was unusual for the Mexican restaurant but they weren't worth it. Ambiance is great but tiny restaurant. Very pricey and the menu is like you don't know what to order. Will never go again!

One of those places you just gotta take visitors. Very popular, and that can mean long wait times, but you can get the full menu in the bar. About $30 per person, with drinks, no dessert. Allow and hour. About my ratings: In an effort to compare apples to apples, my ratings are strictly for establishments within thirty minutes travel... More

My family loves Dos Taquitos. The steak tacos are my favorite, my daughter loves the fajitas and my husband always gets something different. The salsa is good, queso delicious, and the decorations are beyond anything you have ever seen. It is so dark inside that it takes a while for your eyes to adjust and when they do, you could... Most of the reviews I read the people must have been drunk. The service was poor the bill was high for 2 beers and 2 meals 47 dollars come on people for Mexican I thought the place was so dirty tight spaces and noisy I couldn't hear myself think. Junk hanging everywhere dust collectors and guess where that dust goes... More

We were on a weekend trip to Raleigh, looking for a restaurants that weren't fast food near our hotel. Our first night we ate at another restaurant near Dos Taquitos, and had to walk by it on our way to our car. We were stuffed from our dinner, but remarked as we walked by that it really smelled great , despite... More

We were in town for the weekend and decided to try this place. Drove half way across town and this place was closed! After showing as open on here. So we went to the sister Dos Taquitos...NOT worth it. This is Not mexican food. This is tex mex and no flavor at all. No spice. All food was very bland.... More

My wife took me. Such a great vibe. Plenty to look at. Great food. Good variety. And of course a bar.

First - Great atmosphere! Wonderful setting - would never think you were sitting in a stripmall mexican joint. 2nd- The food was great!! Loved it. I had the tostados and a friend the quesodilla. Mine also came with a chorizo soup - took it home and my husband raved about it!! 3rd- Service was terrible! Young lady kept refilling drinks... More

So far this is the best Mexican I have had since being in the triangle! First, you start off with FREE chips and salsa. I had the tostadas which come with either a soup or a salad. I opted for the posole and I am soooooo happy I did. Yum! My companion had the enchiladas, they were great!
