Lunch memorial day

The service was excellent. The sushi left a lot to be desired. I don't think this is their "A" team. The sushi rolls were kind of loose, not packed well, and the presentation was more like food rapidly put together than artwork like sushi is supposed to be. Rolls were small and the rice quality was... read more

Aside from finding a decent parking spot, this place can't be beat for its location, price and food selection. Every day is BOGO on the rolls. We ended up getting 8 different ones. We ate them ALL! The service was quick and friendly, and the portions were normal. I hope I get a chance to go back.

Decent amount of options for vegetarians (at least for sushi), haven't tried much else. But the sushi they have is good. BOGO for sushi is great, but they'll always charge you for the more expensive roll (eg 2 rolls of the $10 roll and 2 rolls of the $6 roll brings your total to $20 at BOGO). Coke addicts beware,... Fresh sushi but have had better in Durham. No wait on a Saturday night though and can't beat buy one get one free. We'll go back when in Raleigh.

I find sushi blues a really great dilemma. The food is very good, the wait staff can vary to super friendly, to not so friendly but that can always improve. My main and only issue with this place is that it is too small for how popular it has become. The sushi deal buy one get one free is great,... More

We went here for my friends birthday and it was a party of about 17. We were told at the beginning that we wouldn't be allowed to split the sushi bill and if someone in our party bought a less expensive roll we would have to pay the difference. None of us realized this rule before coming but didn't wanna... More

I would have given them 5 stars across the board, but the music was so loud, you couldn't hear your dining companions. The food is awesome, though! I had a couple of specialty rolls and found them to be delicious. My husband ordered some sort of stir fry that he said was really good, too. Our waitress, whose name I... More

If the sushi wasn't buy one get one free, it wouldn't have been worth what I paid. I had a Marilyn Monroe and a Bob Marley. The Monroe was pretty good, but the Marley just didn't work too well. In both cases, the rice felt a bit off somehow, but I couldn't place why. If I go back, I'd prob... More

The flavors were just not right. I had some stir fried veggies that were way too salty and came with a tiny portion of rice. I got 2 veggie sushi rolls that were just mushy and lacked any fresh taste. Miso soup was fine.
