In Raleigh for Parents Weekend at NC State. Ate here with our kids. Hands down our favorite Raleigh. Started with seafood bisque which is best I've had anywhere. We shared a mini crab cake appetizer that was great, spicy. My wife and daughter had grilled salmon which they loved. My son had the ribeye. I had filet with shrimp. Excellent... More

The food here is very good. And yes, they do have a lot more than just seafood. Service has always been terrific. It does get crowded, so I would recommend reservations

Their menu is expansive, as is their restaurant. The portions are huge, and cooked well, and very tasty. Good drink selection. The catfish was enough for 2 people, and my flounder was delicious and pretty good sized portion. Coming from NYC, 2 entrees, an app and 2 drinks for 50$ was incredible. Laughed all the way to the car.

Sit at the oyster bar. Get a cold beer and some fresh shucked oysters. Enjoy the atmosphere, the service and most of all the oysters.

The seafood was delicious. The hush puppies that were brought at the beginning were wonderful. Great selection of local beers. Nice location that is within walking distance of downtown Raleigh. Will come back here again next time I'm in town.

I visited the location at the Raleigh-Durham airport. I had extra time before my flight, so ordered only the fried oysters. They were some of the best I've had. They were crispy and not at all greasy. The portion size was good for the money. The service was very good.

This is my favorite seafood restaurant. I go many miles out of my way anytime I am in VA or NC just to eat here. Over the last 20 years I have probably eaten here a dozen times and it's always excellent. Be sure and have the oyster stew. Unfortunately they are only open for dinner.

As a Raleigh native, but someone who has lived overseas for 20 years, this place is my family's favorite place to go when I come home to visit. We have been coming to 42nd Street since the 80s when it was the largest and one of the first restaurants in the downtown area. The food is always fresh and delicious,... More
