Wow! Actual Thai in Raleigh

I relocated from NJ to NC and have struggled to find actual good Thai food. Most places in the area that serve Thai end up tasting like Chinese food with a little extra kick, they lack the flavor that distinguishes Thai food. However, I was pleasantly surprise by Lemongrass. I ordered pad kra prow... read more

Our party of five walked in the door and was promptly refused service. The restaurant was half-full and business hours are posted till 9:30 PM. We left quietly without incident but won't try again.

Very good, fresh, tasty Thai food served by warm smiling people. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the music is kept at a good low level so as create a nice environment. The restaurant is reasonably priced for dinner and had a very good beer special so we could enjoy Singha for only $2.19 a bottle. I also noticed that... More

My husband and I visited Lemongrass Thai and everything was wonderful. The service was prompt and the food was delicious! We both had the Pad Thai. I had the shrimp and my husband the chicken. We also had the satay for an appetizer. We had plenty leftover to bring home for lunch the next day. My husband was very pleased... More

Read the reviews and had to try it while traveling in the Raleigh area. Atmoshere is well done - but very simple and casual. Clean, bright. They were slow on my visit, so no issues with service as some people had mentioned. I was well attended to while there. I had the sautéed mixed vegetables with shrimp cooked spicy. The... More

I eat lunch here as often as I can when in town at my office. The service is always friendly and the food is superb. It is a hole-in-the-wall in a strip mall but the place serves up great Thai. The lunch special is affordable and filling. They appreciate it when you speak a little Thai--just say "kob kun" when... More

Went here for lunch on Friday, small inside seating area and it filled up fast. We ordered crab Rangoon and chicken satay appetizers. Delicious, although satay was a small portion size, only one skewer. Had lunch combos which included choice of first course soup, salad, or appetizer. Entrees were very generous sized portions and very tasty. Drinks were included. Most... More

I've been going here for years. Best Thai food I've ever had. Pad Thai is amazing and so are all the other dishes. I've never had a bad meal here. Love love love

Small, unassuming little restaurant in shopping center off the beaten path, always good, always fresh. We eat in and get take out, have never been disappointed!
