I dined here on a Friday night, making a reservation at very short notice (less than three hours before dining) via the website. On arrival, my dining partner and I were welcomed inside and shown to a table immediately. This was the first indication of the good service I was to experience at Humble Pie. Glasses of water were brought... More

Came to Humble Pie for Sunday brunch and was not disappointed . Simple menu had interesting twists as well as classics . Sausage and polenta and shrimp and grits were excellent . Fun place to stop on a Sunday am

My husband and I decided to go downtown (we live in N. Raleigh) for dinner on a Saturday night. It was about 5:30 when we stopped at another restaurant and they had an hour and a half wait. We decided to try Humble Pie a few blocks away since we had never been there. So glad we did. There was... More

We have been going to Humble Pie for years, mostly because it is good food and a convenient walk from our house. But more recently we realized that the new chef, Josh, is creating incredible dishes! Oh my gosh, everything he makes is delicious! Tonight we had the pork tenderloin dish, and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Josh is magic. Go... More

I have previously been to Humble Pie on several occasions, but several years ago. Most of my previous visits were for the Sunday brunch, which was always excellent. On this trip, in May 2014, I went for dinner and drinks on a Saturday evening. I made reservations the day before, and a great outside table was ready when we arrived... More

4 of us went here on a Friday night. We got seated without a problem, the dining room was relatively empty. Ended up getting a few starters for the table, then each couple got about 2-3 dishes to share. Ended up ordering all 3 desserts as well. The food was quite good, but very small portioned. Smaller than your typical... More

Humble Pie is very popular so if you should make a reservation on Weekend nights and for Sunday Brunch. It is informal, featuring imaginative small plates at a reasonable price. Good drinks and friendly service. Expanded outdoor covered seating area this season. It can be noisy, both inside and outside. Lots of young, loud laughing people the last time we... More

Ate outdoors tonight under the new roof in the new outdoor seating area. So nice. This is a very laid back restaurant with wonderful small plates. Had the strawberry and arugula salad, prime rib, shrimp and grits and a divine bread pudding. All were outstanding.
