The server was nice, but not as attentive as I would expect. My silverware had food crusted on it. The crab cake was better than average but the accompanying rice lacked flavor. The entrée was okay. A stir fry with way too much overly sweet sauce. I might give them another shot if I lived in Raleigh, but as a... More

Nothing special! Our entrees of prime rib came out before our salad so we sent them back. It came out again about 1/2 way through our salad. Our appetizer plate was not cleared from the table, we still had our salads and now our dinner is added to the table top. We were very crowded and very rushed. Since we... More

The food and service here are good. Do not get me wrong from the title of the review, the place is decent. I just did not find anything about it to be great. If this is really a top 10 restaurant in Raleigh then the food scene is terrible. I almost feel like I got charged more for the ambiance... More

We were immediately seated and asked for an outdoor table.. Service was very slow, food over cooked and expensive for the dishes. This was a repeat of the last experience of below expectations but, wanted to give them another opportunity.

Had a reservation and was seated promptly and on time. The service was over the top. The waitress (I think her name was Kristi) was very observant. It was a birthday celebration and although she wasn't told, she picked up on it and brought out a complimentary dessert. The special of the day (Catfish) was the best catfish I've ever... More

Went to Winston's Grill after church on a cold Sunday in March. I loved the decor and the open kitchen where you could see the chefs at work. Everything seemed to be made fresh at Winston's, none of that prefab food you get at some places. They try really hard to get your order exactly as you ordered it no... More

I go to Winston's all the time and keep being amazed every time on how they do it. The food, staff, atmosphere are always awesome. It's so nice to bring friends that have never been there and be treated as if you were family. And for this reason is why Winston's will always be "Home Base " Thanks guys for... More

Had an out of town business associate in for a lunch meeting. Rest of the party had fantastic salads whereas I, celebrating the spirit of Mardi Gras, had popcorn shrimp and a bowl of gumbo. All were very very good. They have a nice offering of luncheon salads and sandwiches from which to pick. Every lunch I have had there... More

My husband and I eloped and my family wanted to celebrate somewhere nice. My father decided on Winston's. We have all been here before so that should show how much we liked the food and service. We got a great table in a separate room just for use and had 2 or 3 people waiting on our table. We always... More
