I visited the Angus Barn when I traveled Raleigh for business..Actually my colleague recommended this place to visit since he had great dinner before.. Service was okay, staff for my table was not fast enough :) for food serving, wine..dessert..etc. But the steak is good enough to enjoy, slightly overcooked though. What I really liked here was wine, they made... More

We've been here a few times but on this last trip we took our 9 year old daughter and she absolutely loved it!! She acted like she was at an amusement park, she did a tour of the the entire restaurant including the wine cellar. She keeps asking when we are going to take her back. I highly recommend this... First let me explain the rating. The food was OK, the service was overly "professional", what moved this rating from average to poor was the Price vs the overall experience. Please note that I said overall experience! The background. Due to logistics we actually had our 25 anniversary celebration back in the summer; and actual date celebrations kept getting pared... One of the best service experiences that I have had in any restaurant. Attentive, polite and courteous. The food was amazing starting with the Crab cakes with jambalaya, to the palate refreshing Intermezzo Salad to the main Angus Beef tenderloin with Yellow fin Tuna with green beans and mushroom risotto. Very impressed and would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Raleigh.

This past weekend I had a seminar to attend in Raleigh on Friday and Saturday. My wife was off from work Friday so she decided to go up with me. When we checked into the hotel I ask the staff where a good place to go to dinner for steak and she recommended The Angus Barn. We tried to get... More

Delicious food, desserts made in house, great wine selection. Service is great and very attentive. Definitely make a reservation because they fill up fast. There's even a humidor and gift shop. A more relaxed lounge is on site as well but I didn't experience that aspect. They also give you homemade crackers with cheese that put anything store bought to... More

The gun collection to the great size of the place was awesome! Steaks were good. Eat upstairs and sit at a couch! My boss and I enjoyed all the sights and sounds. The Menu, the service and the location make it a place I will return to.

Second time at Angus Barn and we were very pleased. We got the crab dip app, my husband got a dirty martini and filet, and I got the Alaskan king crab claws dinner. It was amazing! You have to try the dip. It is not on the menu downstairs but you can still order it. Our waiter was also great.... More

I was impressed by this place on so many levels. The food, the service, The affordability, the atmosphere were all well above my expectations. If you're a cigar smoker be sure to ask to be seated in the meat locker area. Its an indoor/outdoor seating section that allows smoking. I will be hitting this place whenever I'm in the RDU... More

Visited with 20 people from work after a training session. Everyone's food was delivered promptly and hot. Fabulous wine list and steaks. Disappointed with the tea as it was delivered with luke warm water. But the rest of the meal was wonderful.
