I really do not know why people love this place, I went there twice and both times I thoght the food was just ok. For a place that touts great steaks, my steak was a fairly tasteless piece of meat. The whole atmosphere is too downscale for a "fancy" steakhouse. There are a lot of rooms and seating for groups... More

If you go, get steak, it's their specialty and it is some of the best in the triangle. Their wine list is exceptional.

Good Steak...good service...good atmosphere. A 'landmark' restaurant in the Triangle that you have to visit and savor...at least once!

We stopped on a whim while in Raleigh for a day. Hadn't been to the AB in years. We'd skipped lunch, so arrived around 4 and discovered only the lounge was open and serving a limited menu. Had a nice prime rib that was very good, but pricey like everything else there. The staff was friendly and service was quick.... More

This is our families favorite restaurant for birthday celebrations, holidays and anniversaries. The kids love their children's menu and if there's a birthday at the table they let the kids decorate mini cakes, a super treat for the kids to go into the kitchen and come back with their special creation. I love the food, amazing service and wine list.... More

The chateaubriand was cooked perfectly. Wonderful. The vegetables of the kabobs were not cooked enough but that is my only complaint. The rib appetizer was so tender, some of the best ribs ever.

It has been a while since I went to the Angus Barn, mainly because I think it is WAY overpriced for what you get. The prices to me mean that there should be some nice ambiance to match the food. I think the red checkered table clothes and barn décor is fitting for a BBQ joint, but not a fine... More

Went there for dinner last night. Not impressed. The salad was pretty good. The steak was Ok at best. Some poor cow somewhere died for naught. It was soggy. Steaks are not supposed to be soggy. The side was some weird onion kind of thing that was baked or fried or microwaved or something. The waiter was a pretentious snit.... More

I had salmon and my wife had a filet mignon and I've had better dishes at O'Charlie's (for a third of the price). The atmosphere is neat but as someone already stated, it's similar to Cracker Barrel. Unless someone else is paying, skip this place.
