Great, old standby

Been the same for years. Expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Vegans, maybe not so much.

Celebrated my son's 30th birthday at this venue, a legendary 'event' locale in the Triangle. Its reputation is the reason that we selected this restaurant for such a special event!. Good food; good service; personable & attentive staff from the time of booking the reservation (one must definitely plan ahead) to our departure. Well worth the money spent on a... More

This is by far our family favorite! From the huge shrimp, fall off the bone ribs, fresh salad selection and melt in your mouth filet mignon, any time we have a special occasion to celebrate, this is the place! Kids love getting to go back in the kitchen at the end of the meal to make an ice cream sundae!... More

Since we moved to the Triangle in 2006 nearly everyone said we needed to go to the Angus Barn. Incredible food, great service, ambiance, etc. Well, I'm glad we waited to go. It's a barn. A big barn with straw on the floor. You eat with your elbows right next to a stranger seated 3" from you. Service was OK.... More

For 15 years, since we first moved to North Carolina I had wanted to go to the famous Angus Barn. I finally got the opportunity last Year when my attorney and best friend invited me to join her and her husband for a retirement party of a friend. The atmosphere was very rustic, casual, and loud (because of so many... More

I have had some of the best steak meals there with excellent service to "so-so" steaks and service. Mostly very good. It's a little pricey. If you want to make an evening of it, allow time for a tour of the place. Well worth it.

I've gone to the Angus Barn as it is one of the most famous restaurants in Raleigh. I can't say that the food was not good but I've not find anything that will make me come back: The steak was good but not as good as in other steakhouses I've been recently and the place / environment (looks like a... Have always heard good things about this place so we planned a family dinner there. Reservations were at 6:30, seated at 6:45..not so bad. Waited 10 minutes before we were greeted by our waitress. Another 10 for her to bring our drinks & their cheese spreads & water crackers. Then we didn't see her again for 20 MINUTES. So in... More

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff. It was our first visit so they comped us on a couple of items and the baby back ribs fell right off the bones; and the taste...WOW. Will certainly return and bring others to share the experience. Melanie Lew was awesome!

Brought My wife to this place for our 28th. The service was great and the food was spot on. The advice we got on wine was great. We loved the décor and had an overall great time.
