The food and service were great as expected and remembered. The diners in the main dining room were just a little to packed or a few too numerous to really enjoy the food or service.

We loved this place. It is so unique and local, it has so much character. There is an upstairs bar that is great to check out. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and very good. The owner, Van, was super friendly and such s treat to talk to. The food is really good and potions are large. The steaks, salads, and... More

My husband and I along with another couple ate at the Angus Barn. We had heard great things about the "Beef Haven", this place is different in many ways good and not so good. We called ahead to reserve and was told that reservations weren't necessary but we learned that it is. The place was packed, we were told we... More

The Angus Barn is an icon in Raleigh. This place is more than a mouth-watering beef haven. The meal begins with cheese and crackers that you could fill up on if you are not careful. The barn motif is classy and well kept. Your server will treat you like royalty and make sure that your belly is full. The chess... More

The service here was top notch; I have never had better service. The decor and atmosphere was rustic but elegant enough. The food was good, but the price to quality ratio was way too high. I have had better steaks at half the price. Don't get me wrong, it was very good but you are going to pay a very... More

The food was excellent. The steak was prepared perfectly. Great service. They served homemade crackers, cheese spread, and a relish tray while we waited for our food. We didn't have a reservation and didn't have to wait for a table but it was fairly early on a week night.

Went here with two other couples. Waited two hours. Was sat at a table near the restroom. We were given four menus for a table of 6. The server , while friendly, was rushed. We had three forgotten salads and no drink refills. It was a very disappointing experience. I have been to three other steakhouses in the raleigh area... More

I went here with two colleagues in January for the second time. It was like a first time experience again. Huge place, wonderful meals and service! After dinner ask for the tour and check out the wine cellar and the meat locker. I have travelled for business for 16 years - It is one of the best restaurants I've ever... More

I went here on the recommendation of friends. It is a very unique restaurant. The service was outstanding. They provide snacks while you wait and also provide crackers and cheese spreads. Meals include soup or salad and a side. I had the French onion soup and a ribeye. Steak could have used a little more seasoning but it was good..... More

My family and I recently visited an icon in Raleigh for my Birthday celebration. Instead of making reservation for the dining room, we opted for dinner around a cozy coffee table in the Turkey Lounge. The service was very attentive and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. We had wonderful entertainment both musical and MAGIC. EVERYONE enjoyed this immensely! My husband is... More
