Excellent steak! Incredible wine list!

The Angus Barn has been around for 50 years and does not disappoint. It is not fancy, but the food is excellent. Upon being seated, your waitstaff delivers white and yellow cheddar spread, a good start. The wine list is a 5 pound, leather bound novel! You can select a modest bottle, a magnum... read more

The Angus Barn, my father used to bring his dates here in the 50's. Now that I am grown up I bring my family to Angus Barn when we want to have a relaxing steak dinner in a fun atmosphere! Service is impeccable!

The parking lot was FULL on our visit, and the restaurant was PACKED with happy customers! It's nice to see a place where people dress up for a special meal. Perfect service, excellent wine list, a menu to please everyone, and free cake for your celebration! Food was VERY good, but not excellent. Still, it's a treat to dine here.... More

We had a wonderful evening for my birthday. Food was excellent as was the service. We both had the filet. It was outstanding. Atmosphere was exceptional. I had been three years ago and it still has the same charm.

We went to Angus Barn for my husband's and his cousin's birthday. Our bill, with tip, was $120.00. We ordered fillets and the cut was more of a sirloin. It was tough and had no taste. We don't mind paying money for a great meal but this was ridiculous. The best thing about the meal was the olive tray and... More

What a unique and delicious place... I was recommended to go here by a friend who used to live in town, and man was he right. The place alone is a sight worth seeing, just a sprawling complex of room after room, each bursting with character... and then then steaks just put things over the top. Absolutely awesome, it would... More

I have been going to the Angus Barn my entire adult life to celebrate special occasions. Just as Van Eure's Father was committed to creating a special atmosphere, Van is all over it! Each and every guest matters to Van and extremely committed staff. If you have the opportunity sign up for one of their wine cellar dinners. You will... More

Heard a lot of good things, so we decided to check it out. Very comfortable refined country feel to this restaurant. We were greeted by several of the very friendly staff and promptly seated. We ordered a bottle of the sommelier recommended Pinot Gris. A nice wine. We enjoyed the relish plate and barrel cheeses with house made crackers. The... More

Visited while on a one night stay in Research Triangle Park. Since I was alone, I chose to sit at the Bar. Service was good and the food was excellent with large portions; steak was cooked just as I requested. I was there on a Monday and it was packed. It appeared to be mostly business groups so it was...
