A must go restaurant to celebrate any event!

We dined there recently with five generations of family from 97 to 2 years old and noticed similar families celebrating every kind of event, lovely waitress. We have eaten dinner at the Angus Barn in Raleigh, NC for many years and most were pleasurable experiences. Recently we had dinner there, and while the service was excellent, and the atmosphere unique to the Barn, the dinner was not up to our expectations. Not even close. The filet we had was very tough meat and VERY over-priced. The... More

The Wild Turkey Lounge upstairs at the Angus Barn has burgers that are the car equivalent of a Bentley The decor is perfect for conversation and they offer full access to their cheese, vegetable and cracker appetizer table. They grind their own beef so you can have the burger cooked as rare as desired. The patty is a full pound... More

I loved the cheese and pickle bar. Drinks were good and cold. Bartender advised my girlfriend and I spit a burger and he was right. Huge! A little underdone in the middle. Very old boy club feel to the place. And lots of turkey statues everywhere.

Going to a steakhouse when you cannot (medical) eat a steak really makes no sense, right? Well, due to a tick bite...that is my case. But I love the staff and the owner of The Angus Barn and always enjoy the visit. This past trip was no exception! Quick business dinner last Friday turned out to be fantastic - Crab... More

We hadn't been for such a long time. We were attracted because of the history of service. We were disappointed. There was something missing. Service was okay but rigid. Did not really feel they served out of passion. Rather mechanical. It was too scripted for us. And the meal was so so for the price. we did not feel it... More

We had dinner in the Wild Turkey Lounge last night to celebrate our anniversary. The intimate atmosphere of this upstairs pub is a great place for an intimate dinner. Service was excellent. prime rib and baby back ribs were delicious and cooked as ordered. There was so much food, we took half of our dinners home! Before dinner there is... More

This place is so cool. I'd never been to Raleigh before but everyone told us to go here so we had to try t. The restaurant is actually a an old barn. The area is gorgeous and I can see why people would want to get married here. The barn itself is great. The atmosphere is very cool and you... More

We have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant, but the service we received last week was certainly lacking. It took over 30 minutes to get a correct drink order...one person in our party had to send their beverage back TWICE to get what they ordered...and the correct one wasn't delivered until after we were finished with the salad. Could never... More

Always a great time with family here for dinner. From oysters to steak to fresh salads and fresh drinks the service is always superb and the setting is fantastic. Not to mention very good desert.
