This was our second time at the Glenwood Grill. We first went here about six months ago, when we traveled to Raleigh. We were so pleased then, that we returned to dine there our first evening back in Raleigh. We were not disappointed. There was a new menu, started that evening. But everything we had was wonderful. Salads, entrees (Pork... More

We came here on a whim one night and really enjoyed it. We will be back again. Our waiter was great, the food was really good, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night.

The food and service were excellent. My husband said the shrimp and grits were the best he has ever eaten. I had a flounder dish that was delicious and the fish was very fresh. Everyone there including the manager (or owner) is very happy to be there and that translates into a very enjoyable experience.

In town visiting friends and they took us here for dinner. All meals were excellent from land to sea. Meals were capped off with excellent desserts. If in the area again I would dine here again.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our first visit to Glenwood Grill last weekend for a date night. It was our first visit there. We were a little surprised to find it in a strip mall, but the atmosphere inside was lovely. The food was also very good! I got the wedge salad and the half portion of the crab... More

My husband and I decided to eat here on a Friday night without a reservation. The restaurant was crowded for being early, 6pm, but the friendly host offered to seat us at a small section of the bar until a table or a seat at the regular bar became available. In the meantime, we ordered a drink and fried oysters.... More

About ten years ago, I was visiting Raleigh for work and was staying at the Crabtree Valley Marriott. The hotel had an album of menus from local restaurants, and, after perusing them, I decided to try the Glenwood Grill on Glenwood Avenue, which was not far away. What a great choice. Despite its rather humble location in the back row... More

We were visiting the downtown area and had our hearts set on a local restaurant but were quickly disappointed to discover most of the restaurants were closed for a special benefit. Again we checked with Tripadvisor and we found ourselves in the Glenwood Grill. Entree chioces were plentiful and we ordered the catfish and salmon dishes. The catfish was lightly... More
