We love Glenwood Grill. Dined there twice last week. Scallops two ways. Great flank steak. Terrific berry cobbler. Wonderful arugula salad. Nothing more can be said. Too full.

Ate dinner here last night for the first time with family. Great service, great atmosphere, nice sized place, busy for a weeknight late but we had reservations. Tasty salads, enjoyed the grit cake croutons, melt in your mouth rolls, superbly priced carpetbagger 1/2 plate steak had delicious sauce or veal reduction and Bernaise, would get again but so many appealing... When in Raleigh recently, I had lunch at Glenwood Grill. It is tucked away in a small strip mall conveniently located not far from down town. The atmosphere is cozy, upscale and classy. The wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. For lunch, my partner had the Lemon Thyme Chicken Salad which was accompanied by fresh fruit. The salad was... More

This place is top notch. Immediately when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly host and the ambience here is classy but not stuffy. I called in advance to make sure that casual dress was okay and the person who answered said yes, without hesitation. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and enjoying themselves. I had a... I visited this restaurant this past week and was able to sit outside since it was cool enough out. The menu has so many varied items that it took me awhile to decide. I narrowed it down to two choices and let the server give me his opinion, which made me settle on the PBLT: Fried Green Tomato sandwich. Oh... More

We have been dining at the Glenwood Grill for many years but somehow it got off our rotation so we had not been back for a year ... and we all agreed that had been a terrible oversight for us as we missed all this great food. Two had the shrimp and grits and loved it ... and two had... More

My husband and I ate a Glenwood Grill on Valentines Day, and it was the best meal we've had in a long time. We were seated promptly, and cordially. The restaurant was serving a limited menu for Valentine's day, but it looked like a full menu to me. There were plenty of excellent options to choose from. My husband had... More

This is a great neighborhood spot which is always crowded. The food is good. Service is great and prices are reasonable. One of the go to spots in town for locals.

Adore the parmesan fried oysters. Excellent service and they make a great Whiskey Sour-generous with the whiskey. Wine list is very adequate. I've had almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. If you've not eaten there-GO! Just make sure your have a reservation.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal of shrimp and grits. Comfortable atmosphere with an attentive staff. Easy to accommodate my husband's gluten intolerance. Look forward to a return visit.
