Wonderful restaurant in a great city

My wife and I and another couple ate at the Grill because it was recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was noisy but friendly. The service was exemplary. Such a quaint little nice restaurant. A gem in a small strip center that will not disappoint. I started with the fried green tomatoes with the pimento cheese and they were excellent. For entree I had the pork tenderloin and it was soooooo good, fork tender and with the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower purée that lend just a slight woody... More

The dinning experience at the Grill gets better with each visit, Try the Short ribs or the Salmon. My father is a fan of the catfish with a side of grits. He knows catfish!!! Chad at the bar is a treasure. You never leave a stranger.

This was the first experience with Carolina cooking for my husband an myself. We dined with 3 other people. Our party sampled the she crab soup and seafood with grits, among other items. The soup was rich and flavorful. The grits were tasty with the addition of cheese. One member of our party mentioned he was disappointed with the parmesan... More

For a final get together before a long separation, we and another couple returned to Glenwood Grill. Its enviable combination of menu choice, very good food, pleasant decor, able service and competitive pricing are plainly hard to beat. Reservations are a must. It is not impossible to be seated after an impulse to stop there, but do not count on... More

Luckily this restaurant is 4 hrs from my house, Unfortunately this restaurant is 4 hrs from my house. We had a very delicious dinner. It is a hard place to get a reservation; you must know the date ahead of time. And hope for the time you want! The she crab soup was enjoyed by 3 of us. 2 party... More

My friend and I ate lunch at this fun hip eatery near Crabtree Valley Mall in mid-December. A popular spot for business people, friends and couples, it was getting busy when we arrived at 11:30 am. We were treated to superior service. The menu carries a variety of items and there are daily specials, too. We both ordered the crabcake... More

It had been too many years since we had dinner at the Glenwood Grill...what a mistake! Tonight in a crowded restaurant during the holiday season we received great service and a great meal. This restaurant is on the smaller side and it is a little noisy but not enough to distract from your own table conversation. Our table sampled for from... More

Very nice evening at the Glenwood Grill, even if people had started bellowing like sea lions at feeding time by the time we left. It wasn't THAT full that conversations needed to be held at that decibel level - but it seems to happen at lot in places. Anyway - nice dinner, good service. We started with the fried green... More

Food was unremarkable. Waiter was not very attentive, not could he make any specific recommendations when asked, other than to say "it's a decent portion". My scallop entree came out (you get 3 medium scallops) and one of the three scallops was not acceptable (under cooked and no sear). The man who delivered it to my table saw I had... More
