Taverna Agora is an authentic Greek kitchen & bar where friends & family enjoy good wine, eat wonderfully prepared, simple food and relax. The restaurant is reminiscent of gathering places found in Greece, with old world flavors and rustic roots. However, Taverna Agora expands beyond the traditional agora with a few modern flares, including hand-crafted cocktails, a gourmet marketplace and Sunday brunch.

Greek night

Was lucky to be in town during a First Friday Greek Night here. Live music, and belly dancer. Patrons dancing too! Had the branzino fish, and Greek white wine, baklava for dessert.

Our reservations for the restaurant was for Saturday night and the place was hopping at 8pm. We had a couple of drinks downstairs while we waited for our friends in the lively dining room on the main floor. We wanted to be seated upstairs on the patio/deck. It has a great view of downtown and has heaters overhead but on... More

I love the food here. Have been here several times. Find it consistently fresh and delicious. The only complaint I have are the interruptions. They are so concerned with trying to run your bill up the waiter/waitress comes by every 3 minutes. Very hard to have a business meeting without being interupted. This has happened each time I ate there.... More

Rooftop had a much better ambiance than downstairs. The food was delicious. Get the flaming Saganaki for an entertaining appetizer! Our table ordered the Lamb Chops and Pastitsio--everyone enjoyed!

This was our first visit to Taverna Agora. Booking a table for 5 over the phone was really easy. The restaurant looks really nice. We choose to seat upstairs. The food was decent. Nothing to die for though. Our server wasn't good at all. He delivered our dishes and drinks in whatever random way he choose to. I had to... More

Staying at the Holiday Inn Express for business travel, I was excited to see a Greek restaurant next door. We stopped in for a late dinner for three colleagues and enjoyed great dining and conversation. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxed and a touch of foodie elegance. We loved it! The Greek Tasting Platter was insane and a perfect appetizer to... More

We had previously been to the glenwood location and had a very good meal. The new location was fabulous and the food was great. Service was very good. We had Sunday brunch/lunch and all apps and entre's were very good. Save some room for the limoncello cake or the baklava cheesecake! The upstairs open air room is 4 seasons and... More

Great atmosphere. Food was delicious and the cocktails were good. Try the sample platter. The bell was too much though.

I could've inhaled the bread and olive oil dipping plate. Food and service were wonderful! Also ordered the baklava to go and wanted to lick the plate 830-530-lunch

I had lunch with two co-workers here recently. The atmosphere is very bright, welcoming and nicely done. Service was friendly and attentive - thank you Kristina! We tried the cream of broccoli soup, mousaka and baklava. The soup was phenomenal and definitely made in house. It wasn't too creamy and had just the right amount of broccoli flavor. The mousaka...
