A Delicious Bargain downtown

Caffe Luna has been in downtown Raleigh about as long as I have. It's easy to overlook a place that you've been to many times - especially with Raleigh's bustling restaurant scene that has developed over the past few years. Coming back to Cafee Luna was a treat after a long absence. The dining... read more

I had high expectations for this place, from the ravings on trip advisor, but it disappointed, big time. Food: My husband had the Rigatoni con Pollo alla Panna and it was bland, bland bland. The chicken was super dry, like the chef had microwaved it to cook it. I don't consider myself an expert chef, and I could have made... More

Went there for a dinner. We were a group of around 50 people from my company. Friendly staff paying good attention and good service. Started with a ceasar salad .... Not the kind of ceasar salad I am used to, but acceptable. The dessert was a kind of boring chokomousse cake-thing. My colleague next to me asked me how my... More

Went there for lunch. Reservations taken, table ready, very nice atmosphere, good service, very good food at a reasonable price. Will be back!

Here for a rehearsal dinner. Convenient location with city atmosphere. We were served buffet style and the selections were quite varied and all food was fresh and flavorful. Wide range of salads, vegetables, shrimp, chicken and pasta. Enjoyed the evening here.

Wow...we ate here a year or so ago, and I wanted to share what happened to us! I still can't believe it...everything was going great until we got our food. I ordered a rib eye. It came a bit later than my husband's food, but we made no mention of it. However, it was an omen as to what was... More

Been there numerous times. Quality excellent and delicious. Very reasonable. They make me a spaghetti putanesca even though it's not on the menu. Their service is very attentive. The owner is always making sure the clients are happy. Will be going back next week. I am having putenesca withdrawal.

I have only eaten here at lunchtime and it has always been busy. I have tried just about everything on their lunchtime menu and have no complaints except I found the lasagna to have waaaaay too much sauce and not enough actual lasagna. The atmosphere is pleasant and the decor is pleasing. Tables are rather packed in together, so if... More

We had the opportunity to have dinner at Caffe Luna the other evening with some friends. We've been there before and it was wonderful. It is reasonably priced with a limited but decent reasonably priced wine list and a broad range of menu offerings. The menu changes, but all good. The room can be loud and a bit cramped between...
