Just ok

The atmosphere is very nice, charming. It gets a bit loud when the dinning rooms are full but still sets a nice mood. The food however, only ok. I could make most of these dishes at home and get the same quality. I ordered a Bow tie pasta with salmon and pink sauce. It was very oily. The pasta... read more

Cafe Luna is very convenient to both Marbles and Museum of LIfe & Science. They open at 5 pm and have limited free parking in lot across the street. Service and food are good.

My husband, a friend, and I all went during restaurant week. I ordered from the restaurant week menu, and had a Caesar salad, cured beef carpaccio, and the orecchiette with italian sausage. Everything was wonderful, and the pasta was house-made. We don't eat Italian often, but we would definitely come back to Caffe Luna. The owner was there and came... More

Attended a family wedding here over the weekend, This establishment is quaint and intimate. The Loved the art work on the walls and the wood floors. Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious with many choices to please any palate. Danced our selves silly with the D.J. Fun was had by all.

We love Caffe Luna. Parker Kennedy runs a restaurant we are always happy to visit. Love the pasta with shrimp and peas. And his salad with salmon. The menu has something gif everyone. It is also a great space for events. And Parker supports our community arts organizations. Highly recommend.

I'm not sure why more folks don't know about this place but they should - the food is fresh and fantastic - I mean it - every single dish that myself or anyone I have went with ordered has been outstanding. Portions are great and prices are low - you must try it out. When you're there, if you're lucky,... More

This restaurant is without question the most flavorful value in the triangle. If you are in Raleigh it is a great lunch, dinner or special event location. Staff is courteous and polite with swift service and the owner is usually table visiting and greeting with a very sincere thanks you for your business. All this to support consistently delicious Italian... More

Outstanding Italian food once again! We met family in Raleigh so we could go to our favorite Italian restaurant Caffe Luna! The Tortelli Crostocci, fresh pasta stuffed with lobster, crabmeat and prawns with a cream sauce is one of our favorites. The table also had Fiocchi, fresh pasta with 4 cheeses and pear and Linguini Pestatore, calamari, shrimp, mussels and... More

We loved Caffe Luna! First of all, the restaurant is beautiful inside and very inviting, with high ceilings and lovely art on the walls. Both the food and the service were excellent. We started off with wonderful bread and olive oil for dipping, along with a garden salad; then we had the Lasagna and Parmigiana di Pollo as our entrees.... More

I was excited for a chance to go to this restaurant for a work celebration. They are closed on Mondays for private functions. There was about 80 people and they served a pasta buffet. I do not know if this was all they serve or what was chosen for our function....but I was NOT impressed at all. There was only... More
