Good restaurant for business dinner or rehearsal dinner

I have been to Cafe Luna twice. Once for a business dinner and once for a rehearsal diner. Both times we dined in the private dining room. The private room is large enough for 20 people without sitting on top of each other. The food was good Southern Italian. The wine list compliments the... read more

The din from the first step in is a warning. Menu has a few interesting items, but risotto is not on it. None of the French influences one would expect of Northern Italian. Food is good but not outstanding. Service is excellent. Wine list lacks explanations; wine markup is reasonable. Not a place to go expecting to hear dinner conversation... More

Good northern italian fare, good service, nice ambiance. This restaurant is tastefully decorated, the service is attentive and timely, the menu is not large but the dishes are appealing, the food was very good. Will return.

Having eaten an enjoyable lunch here before, we looked forward to dinner before a concert. While the atmosphere was good, and the waitress pleasant though not polished, the food really disappointed. The pasta with seafood had one scallop, two small shrimp, and two mussels with some very tough squid. Held out hope for the house made tiramisu that was raved... More

Loved the atmosphere, our service and above all the food! The appetizers were Devine. The dish was a fish pasta ravioli , it was very tender and melted in your mouth. It was beyond delicious. I look forward to visiting them again.

I would go again. But wouldn't rush. The food was fine. Just that the menu seemed as bit ordinary. Service was very good. We were there the night before the Rock n Roll marathon to eat pasta. And this fit the bill.

I had high expectations for this place, from the ravings on trip advisor, but it disappointed, big time. Food: My husband had the Rigatoni con Pollo alla Panna and it was bland, bland bland. The chicken was super dry, like the chef had microwaved it to cook it. I don't consider myself an expert chef, and I could have made... More

Went there for a dinner. We were a group of around 50 people from my company. Friendly staff paying good attention and good service. Started with a ceasar salad .... Not the kind of ceasar salad I am used to, but acceptable. The dessert was a kind of boring chokomousse cake-thing. My colleague next to me asked me how my... More

Caffe Luna has been in downtown Raleigh about as long as I have. It's easy to overlook a place that you've been to many times - especially with Raleigh's bustling restaurant scene that has developed over the past few years. Coming back to Cafee Luna was a treat after a long absence. The dining room was a bright, airy and... More
