There has always been the Irregardless Café. At least since I've lived in the area, coming up on 25 years. And it has never disappointed me. Raleigh has, in the past 10 years, emerged from the food wilderness and now has several top notch restaurants, many of which aggressively seek recognition via "award" services and engage in heavy marketing. But... More

Just last evening, my wife and I made a visit to this fine restaurant. Regardless that it was for a special occasion sponsored by the Raleigh, NC News and Observer newspaper, the Irregardless cuisine, as would be expected from Chef-extrordinaire/owner, Arthur Gordon, was exquisite! The cozy atmosphere on previous visits included, in addition to fine food presentation and palate-pleasing taste,... More

We have eaten at the Irregardless several times for brunch and lunch, and it has always been excellent - the service, the atmosphere and the delicious food.

If I had dreamed about a restaurant, either mine or my hangout, this would be the place. Great feeling, interesting and healthy menu, really good servers. Host was helpful, servers were helpful. I would recommend this as being worth a trip to Raleigh, actually.

I had been to Irregardless many years ago when it was vegan/vegetarian. Loved it then & loved it last night!! Had the calamari appetizer which husband devoured most of. It's a different take on the 'regular' calamari and the most tender (not rubbery) calamari I've ever had. We also ordered the hummus/tabbouleh/butter bean pate appetizer which arrives with the best... More

My sister and I had reservations for Saturday brunch. Our table was ready with fresh flowers. The coffee and fresh orange juice were delightful. Our service was very attentive without hovering. My entree was just as I had ordered it. My sister was pleased with her omelet. The breads and butter were a nice touch. We will defintely be giving... More

I can't say this enough. We just love this restaurant. The food is always great and the service is excellent. It just keeps getting better and better. We're going away for Thanksgiving our we would be here enjoying a wonderful feast. If you have not been here or if it's been a while, you need to stop by for a... More

I had the veg shepherds pie and it was really good-lots going on, with fennel, cabbage and all sorts. Kind of a casual/family style dining area, the clientele seemed to be mostly in their 50s and 60s. Crab dip was a bit too cheesy, but would definitely go back.

Cool vibe Great service Delicious food- I think that the success of breakfast and brunch lies in how good your home fries are- and theses ones were delicious! Crispy- not soggy- and full of flavor. I got the vegetable hash with eggs over easy- would absolutely have that again And plenty of food to fill you up!

Irregardless Cafe uplifted my mood after a dreary flight from New England. My daughter, a college student in NC, picked me up at RDU; I was starving. Offering a variety of seating options, we were accommodated right away, even though the place was packed. A friendly server came right to the table with coffee, fresh OJ and scrumptious, homemade breakfast... More
