Lots of options, live music, bottomless coffee, what else could you want from a brunch? It's definitely a local family favorite location, so you can expect children, but the music makes up for that. There is a gravel lot for customer parking 50 feet from the front door. My wife can't have gluten and she enjoys the grits!

We arrived as a group of 4 on an un-crowded Tuesday evening. We were greeted and shown immediately to our table. Our server was knowledgable and pleasant. She was attentive without being overbearing, reciting specials and beer know-how with ease. Our meal arrived promptly while a live duo played soft jazzy tunes on a small stage. The Venus & Mars... This Raleigh classic never fails to please. The bistro ambiance is enhanced by live background music played at that magic level where to can hear both it and the conversation with your dinner partners. The menu was very varied and punctuated by fresh from the garden produce that has long been a hallmark of the restaurant. The three of us... More

This restaurant has been serving customers since the 1970s and is very very popular. It is located next to NC State University. The food is very local and is extremely good. The portions are big---our only regret was not sharing an entree. This restaurant is well worth the visit, and the quality is excellent.

The Irregardless has passed the test of time in Raleigh and keeps getting better! Arthur always offers imaginative menus with fresh local foods and delightful flavors. The atmosphere is quaint and the music is a special bonus, with dancing on weekends. Have not tried the speak-easy.

I have been here twice and have yet to be impressed. The food is pretty steep in cost and you can get better pancakes around the corner at IHOP. I had grounds in my coffee on one visit (lots of them, not just a few). But the service was on point and it is very quaint on the inside with... More

Let me start by saying that my wife and I ended up raving about the experience here. The irony is that things started out with disappointment but the experience ended being memorable. What we learned: The bread which is normally fantastic is not made fresh on Sundays because the baker does not come in on Sunday. Our server, Megan knew... More

Flew in from out of town to take my daughter to dinner for her birthday. I made reservations on line and called to confirm as well. We were running late for our 7:00 p.m. reservation but we did get seated and had an excellent table close to the stage. The staff was very friendly including the manager who engaged in... More

Stopped in for weekend brunch today and I think I have found my go to spot for brunch in Raleigh. Excellent atmosphere in a nice neighborhood, good service and very tasty food. At first glance the prices seem a little high (entrees are $11-15) but they come with coffee, juice and breakfast breads. The menu is large and has everything... More
