We stopped into Nina's early New Year's Eve for a cocktail. The bartenders were welcoming, polite and very entertaining. The old fashion drink I had was suburb and my husband enjoyed his dirty martini. Nina came around and wished everyone a Happy New Year. We will return to Nina's very soon and stay for dinner this time. The food has... More

Haven't been to them all, but this is the best Italian I've found in Raleigh area. Also, check out the homemade Mojitas at the bar - these definitely ARE the best.

Nina greeted us at the door with a huge smile and an apron. From that moment on we had a quintessential upscale Italian restaurant experience which reminded me of my days in New Jersey. This is a white linen style Italian restaurant, but without the pretense of other local eateries. The food is reasonably priced for what you get. The... More

You'll love this place. Tucked away in N. Raleigh, but really not a bad location. Great food, decent wine list, & awesome service combine to make this near the top of the list for Raleigh's Italian fare. We ordered Penne ala vodka (chicken, a little spicy) and salmon w/ cheese ravioli...from the bread and salads to start, through the entrees... More

It has been a few years since we have dined at Nina's and we wanted italian food. The wine list is nice and you start with bread and bruschetta while milling over your menu selections. My wife had the Penne alla Vodka, which I helped her finish and was very good. The reason why I assisted with helping my wife... More

This is a small strip mall restaurant that is worth a visit. We keep returning to eat here. Each meal starts with a delicious tray of bread and the good food just continues from there. My family and friends have been here on multiple occasions and each time we have found the food to be tasty and fresh. The tables... More

The restaurant was only 1/3 full on Saturday night ... there was no excitement in the air to be sure. It was like eating in some restaurant in the off season. We have dined here often over the years, but were quite disappointed tonight. Our entree ... the 'lobster risotto special' ... was below par ... C'mon guys ... every... More

But every time we dine here it is better than the last time!! And I just love how Nina comes around and talks to everyone. It's just the perfect intimate dining experience. If you try it once you will be hooked:)

We went to Nina's for the first time on Valentine's Day which is of course is a real test for restaurants. Nina's passed with flying colors. Our table was ready when we arrived at the reservation time. It is a fairly small place in a strip mall. It was never completely full while we were there. The atmosphe is very... More

We've been to this neighborhood restaurant many times since it first opened. I agree with other reviewers that it can be a little noisy in the main dining room at times, but this does actually add to the feeling that you're at a neighborhood restaurant in Italy. The food is consistently good authentic Italian food, and if there's something you... More
