We enjoyed a fine evening at Sawadsee Thai on Capital Blvd. The server was gracious and handled our party of four adults and our three small Great Grandchildren with efficiency, courtesy and a smile. Best of a ll, the food was superior, the ambience lovely, and the evening delightful. The sauces were particularly good with a perfect balance of flavor... More

We've been coming to Sawasdee Thai for the better part of 10 years. The food has always been fresh, authentic, reasonably priced, and served in a friendly, courteous manner. The interior has that nice homey feel with enough space between tables to enjoy conversation with the great food. We called ahead to insure they were open for lunch since it... More

Four of us went for dinner at the Sawasdee on Capital Blvd. It is a very small place but we were able to be seated at 6:15 on a Weds but it soon filled up. It is very brightly decorated. The tables are close to each other but the noise level is low. Our food was very good. I am... More

This Thai restaurant is one of the best short of being in Thailand yourself. The fresh spring rolls are the best I've had anywhere. The fresh basil leaves and peanut sauce make me want to make a whole meal of just spring rolls. We also had the spicy eggplant; it was good but not really that spicy. We ordered takeout... More

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday on a Tuesday evening so it was not crowded, but it was a bit odd that the hostess seated us directly next to another occupied table when most of the tables were emply. It looks completely different than how it looked when it was Gino Russo's. We both needed a few minutes to... More

Maybe the best Thai in Raleigh. Gracious service, huge portions and good prices. We try to go every time we come to town.

Good Thai. Uncomfortable wicker chairs. Atmosphere mix of good and needs work. New location in pleasant valley promenade. Good drinks and wine selection.

I'm in love with Thai cuisine, and If I could probably I've been there for every meal. But... but here it was special. I heard about the good reputation of this place but I didn't expected this excellent service and food. Staff was impeccable, fast, polite and helpful. Food was an experience! I ordered "JUST" a curry: I could taste... More
