This was my first visit wit my family of five. We were unable to get a prime time seating so we opted for what they had a available at 5:30. By the way it was Saturday night before Mother's Day. when dining at any establishment during a peak occassion, I always excuse certain things because it may not be a... More

5 of 5 stars (excellent, fine dining) (see explanation of ratings below) Always a fave of ours. We buy $500 worth of gift certificates each year (for $400) and give them to ourselves! Chef Toler is amazingly creatively and he changes his menu about every six weeks. Allow 60-90 minutes. Cost: about $25-$35 for food alone. $15 corkage fee. About... More

Tucked into a small strip mall, this was a pleasant surprize. Dined early on a Friday evening. Excellent wait staff and small, but diverse menu with Mediterrean undertones. Would definitely return.

Having read so many reviews of this place, we just had to visit. The wife and I visited on a Saturday night, for our anniversary. We made reservations ahead of time, and were seated quickly. Bloomsbury is nice and quiet, and very relaxing. The staff did not rush us at all. Our service was excellent. Our water and wine glasses... More

We have been a few times and I have enjoyed it every time. The foodis standard american bistro but prepared very well served elegantly. The food and service are commensurate with the price ... you get what you pay for here. Excellent for a date or date night or for a spurge.

We have been going to Bloomsbury Bistro for years because it is such a lovely special occasion restaurant. It's quaint, quiet and the atmosphere transports you to another time and place. The menu changes frequently so you are always surprised with the different offerings. You won't find menu options like these anywhere else in Raleigh. We also use a coupon... More

Chef John Toler never disappoints. For eighteen years, he has been the jewel in the crown of the Five Points area north of downtown Raleigh. The menu changes about every four to six weeks. Be sure to sign up for Toler's Table VIP Club. As a member, you can take advantage of two great offers: 1) buy $50 gift cards... More

We dined at Bloomsbury the weekend before Christmas, and, as always, it was wonderful. We arrived early, so we decided to order a glass of wine at the bar. The bartender was very personable and friendly. Our waiter wasn't quite as attentive or personable as those we've had in the past, but because we enjoy the restaurant so much, that... More

I've been going to BB for years and try to hit it whenever I'm visiting Raleigh for one simple fact - the food there is consistently great - and creative. You won't find these dishes in other Raleigh restaurants. I also like that there is always a fish dish, as that's the only meat I eat. Most recently I had... More
