Gonza is a no combo plates, homemade everything big deal Mexican restaurant up Leadmine Rd. from Crabtree mall. It's hello, come in, nice to see you, can I get you a drink, have some chips friendly restaurant with fresh, house made, chunky salsa to go with the warm chips. It's wonderful presentation of tacos on flour tortillas like I've never... More

Spending the night in Raleigh after visiting my daughter over parents weekend nearby. Went exploring and saw trip advisor reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. Margaritas were great! Dinners were well presented and tasty. Highlight of the great meal was the dessert- talega de platano. Fried pouch of fruit with ice cream on the side.... More

This is a great restaurant and very reasonably priced. The flour tacos are superb and the service is top notch. Don't be fooled by the appearance externally, it looks like a chain restaurant in a retail park but it is quite the opposite. Highly recommended.

Tuesday night meal with friends party of 7, owner greeting was warm and friendly (as always ), server/ice was fair. The tacos are on the small side, so an order of three if moderate hungry; should not be too much (like some places). Unfortunately they will not mix and match tacos, its all or nothing of a kind on an... More

Don't get me wrong, the food was pretty good but it was definitely not #7 restaurant in Raleigh good. I can think of at least 10 restaurants that are better and even a few Mexican restaurants that are better. Maybe we went into this with our expectations too high, but here goes: Drinks: My husband ordered a Victoria Michelada and... More

Family owned business preparing interesting and very tasty variations. Incredible list of tequilas. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Being from Texas, we were pleasantly surprised to find Mexican food of this quality in NC.

The food is fresh and delicious. The decor inside is really fun. This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Raleigh. I will go back time and again!

I love Gonza's. All of their dishes are so good, and made with fresh ingredients and not greasy like most Mexican. Their steak tacos are amazing!! Sit outside if the weather is nice.

First time here and after ordering a mango margarita I was shocked it wasn't served in a margarita glass. It might sound petty but it's Mexican and I like those glasses. The serving size was small and tasted way too sweet and not enough alcohol. ($9.00 special) smh.... I had the shrimp tacos and rice a beans. Shocked about the... More
