Recently was in Raleigh and decided to have Mexican. Made reservations at Gonza ( glad we did because it was packed). Different atmosphere, but this added to meal. Great margaritas. Food was fresh, well prepared and smoking hot when it arrived. Everything we ordered was delicious. If you want fresh Mexican inspired food that you don't want to order by... More

I go here almost every week for lunch, except Monday they are closed! Must get there before 12. Love their Guacamole and their tacos! Excellent wait staff and the manager ALWAYS comes by and ask how everything is. Definitely authentic foods. Love this place!!

Our old favorite Mexican place had closed down several months ago. Our friends had been trying to get us to go with them to their favorite place. Man, have we been missing out. This place was just around the corner from us. None of that fru-fru Mexican food. A real meal, good and spicy. Plenty of food and good prices.... More

This place has a buzz and it certainly lived up to the hype - Wow! I had the Mexican Flag and their fresh guacamole and was in heaven! Love everything about this place - the artistic and vibrant atmosphere, the service, the food, and the value. My new "go to" place for Mexican in Raleigh, NC.

I can't even contain myself while writing this review. Seriously some of the best food I have eaten in a long time. From the quality of food, to the exceptional service, and the funky atmosphere- this place rocked. I had the spicy chicken tacos with the tortilla soup. Husband had the Mexican flag. Both were amazing. So flavorful and fresh.... More

Food is excellent and good value -- not cheap food loaded with cheese and fat as one normally finds in Mexican restaurants. Guacamole and ceviche appetizers are very good, and many seafood dishes complementing the meat and chicken. There are even some vegetarian main dishes of excellent quality. Drinks are great and atmosphere fun! In the heart of North Raleigh

We ate at Gonzas on a rare date night without the kids. We had heard it was good but had no idea how good!!! It was packed to start with and the 25 minute wait almost scared us away. Thank goodness the owner came around offering drinks and we stayed! Gonzas is an excellent restaurant! We loved everything about it.... More

Loved this place. Had scallop tacos; they were sooo good. Salsa was chunky (server told us they make it daily). Will definitely be back.

Fantastic service, incredible food, and off the charts Margs! This is a N. Raleigh must....period. Great for kids, but go early. Awesome social scene - lively, upbeat, fun, happy people all enjoying top tier fare. If you like spicy, ask your server to spice it up for you...and yes, go ahead and order that next top shelf margarita!

Customers took me lunch here and it was awesome! Very unique, lots of outdoor seating, great food and service but a little pricey. However you get what you pay for. Will return!
