What a great dinner experience! We ate outside (6 people). The service was great and fast! Great and fresh chips with hot salsa . The menu has amazing Mexican dishes with fabulous fusion flavors. We had the Quesadilla and the Callo de Hacha ( tacos of scallops). Fascinating flavor. The cilantro rice was out of this world (combination of cilantro... More

What a great place for not your ordinary Mexican restaurant. We had the guapo buritto with plantains and funky scallop tacos. Great margaritas and good selection of beer and tequila. Fun atmosphere and excellent service.

Great food! We started with traditional margaritas and spicy jalapeño mojitos. Appetizers were cheese dip (we asked for jalapeños on the side and got fresh peppers - so good) and guacamole. Both very good. At the table, we had the chile relleno, beef and chicken tacos. The sides we chose were the salad (a great size - not too big,... More

We had lunch today at the Wake Forest location. The restaurant was recommended to us and we loved it. The food was terrific. We ordered quesadillas and catfish tacos. We shared both dishes and we're not disappointed. Chips and salsa were brought to our table right away and the salsa was really fresh and delicious. Our waitress was so helpful... More

Different than the generic Mexican/Tex-Mex places around. Different menu, vibrant, colorful place with attentive staff and fantastic food. Marginally more expensive than a typical place, but with a lot more variation.

We were visiting Raleigh and a local recommended this restaurant. We went on a Sunday evening. We made a reservation b/c we heard it gets busy! Glad we did. We had a wonderful waiter named Fernando. He recommended a few items. I had the Mexican Flag dish and my husband had the Chile Relleno. Both were very good! Chips and... More

This restaurant has delicious food with a fun atmosphere! Every time I go I get the shrimp tacos which are excellent. I only have three slightly negative comments - 1) it can get very, very loud when it's busy; 2) if they are busy, they may hound you to get you out the door so they can seat waiting guests.... More

Being from Tucson, Arizona, and traveling frequently to Mexico on vacation, I am spoiled by our excellent Mexican restaurants. The atmosphere at Gonza's is colorful, fun and unique. They have done a great job making it authentic. You feel like you are on vacation in Mexico. Only drawback was it was very busy. We were seated immediately but I would... More

After hearing "glowing" reviews about Gonza I was eager to try it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to say the least. I ordered fish tacos at $ 14.00 with a rice that turned out to be green in color. When the tacos ( Mai-Mai ) arrived I was more than a little shocked at the portion. The three tacos were more...
