We've been to Machu Picchu and the food is wonderful. The ceviche is second to none. We came on a busy Saturday evening when, I believe they were either short handed, or didn't anticipate the volume of patrons. Our waiter was still very professional, but we didn't get the attention we felt we really should have. Nevertheless...I will be back,... More

The enthusiasm from local food critics and the public is well deserved. A distinctive and delightful addition to the Latin American Food Scene in Raleigh. Food is tasty and freshly prepared and portions are generous. The emphasis is on fresh preparation and prompt service of dishes as they are prepared so if you are a larger group (we were four)... No. 1 rating on trip advisor piqued my interest as I have ever had Peruvian food nor was I familiar with this location. Don't let the strip all location and humble/intimate decor fool you. The food and service was awesome.

We had a group of 6 people. Pros: Great food Atmosphere better than expected for a strip mall. Drinks were good Price was very reasonable First dishes out only took a few minutes Cons Four of us got our food but the last two people took forever to get theirs so food was cold for all. Waitress disappeared for long... More

We went for dinner with two friends. The place is humble and with great service, however the food was not up to our expectations. To start, the ceviche, which should be the 'signature' dish of any Peruvian restaurant was quire acidic, with too much of something that was not lemon or just sea fruit juice. To me it tasted artificial,... More

My daughter and I love Peruvian Cuisine and Machu Picchu was a great dining experience. Victor and Gloria, the owners, came out and talked to us, and share some wonderful stories of their past life in Peru. The Ceviche is excellent! The Tiramisu made with Marsala wine, just like I experienced when I lived in Italy. I am in love... More

As a first generation American with strong roots in Cuzco, I miss long gone days of home cooked Peruvian meals. While in Raleigh on business I found this place via Trip Advisor and just had to try it. This restaurant's number 1 rating is indeed well earned, the food is excellent, and the husband wife team of owners are friendly... More

I have tried Peruvian fast food in the past, but this was my first true Peruvian dining experience. Everything about the dinner was exceptional. There were four of us present and we tasted an enjoyed everything on the table. The ceviche starter was an excellent way to begin and could easily be a wonderful meal, but to stop there you'd... Easily the best, most unique dining experience I've ever had. Food is amazingly consistent and the chef is incredible. Highly recommended.

Great food and servers. You would not know by the location though as it seems tucked away from sight. But the food is absolutley lovely. I would definitely go again
