Do not be turned off (as my wife was) by the drab strip mall exterior of this place. The food and service is top notch. We shared the Tamalito Verde as an appetizer with some great cocktails. For entrees we had Arroz con Mariscos en salsa Verde and Tacu Tacu con Apanado de Puerco. Flavor and presentation on everything was... More

Amazing meal in a very down to earth, laid back atmosphere. We made reservations and it seems they only seat a few tables a night. Food is fresh and cooked by the owner. Tastes amazing! We decided we need to go back monthly with our friends!!

I visited with family last night for my second meal at MP and it lived up to the high praise that had been bestowed upon it from my first visit. The drinks, apps, and entrees were all delicious. The owner visited our table to make sure all was in order after a slight mix up on our reservation and some... More

If you love great food (fabulous ceviche sampler), reasonable prices and great service plus the nicest owners of any restaurant anywhere you must try Machu Picchu. Owners Victor & Gloria (chef) Orihuela aim to please in every way. And they always succeed. The menu is varied enough to please most palates. We have learned a lot about Peruvian food and... More

I stumbled upon this place, after visiting Steinmart in the same strip center. Don't be put off by the unusual and somewhat harsh signage hung near the entry. The food is the star here! i had Jalea accompanied by a Pisco Sour and finished my meal with a Coconut Flan. Everything I tried was absolutely wonderful..fresh fresh fresh. Tasty. Can't... More

Great place for ceviche; they have an extensive list of typical Peruvian ceviches. Another reviewer mentioned the Lomo Saltado, and I agree that it is outstanding. That alone is worth a trip. Everyone in our group was quite pleased with their order, which included a grouper dish with lima bean salad and Tacu Tacu con Seco. The flan was excellent.... More

We were visiting some NC colleges and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor Wow...what a great restaurant! After having read the excellent reviews, we had to give this place a shot being that my husband is from Peru. Where do I start..we were able to walk right in and sit down on a Friday at 4:30 pm. We were promptly... More

Another great visit, great food and service, this restaurant never fails to impress. The food is delicious, and the owners take care of their guest like family, it reminds me like going home to Mom and eat her cooking, I like the family atmosphere the best along with the great food!
