If you like Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches, this is the place. Absolutely the best flavors anywhere in Raleigh. Nice people too.

I was looking at Spize's online menu and saw that they had clearly identified which of their items were vegan- and there was at least one attractive option (actually six or more, by my count)- so I automatically headed over to try it out. I can't stress enough to restaurant owners how important vegan labeling is. It shows you know... More

Wonderful food. Best of the best for casual pan Asian. Delicious banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) with perfect, crunchy French bread. Great fried wonton appetizer and the side of sauteed bok choy - still crispy and in a light, flavorful sauce were amazing. Highly recommend- only open for lunch though- closes at 4p (?) but also open on Saturday for lunch.... More

Delicious Thai and Vietnamese-inspired food--salads, baguette sandwiches, and noodle dishes. Salads are especially good. Food is always fresh and flavorful.

My daughter and I picked this restaurant b/c it is walking distance from the NCMNS. Wow we made the right choice. We were pleasantly greeted by Israel, a very knowledgeable, friendly employee. What an asset he is to this place. The food was exceptionally fresh and flavorful. This is a bright sunny spot in the center of the city.

How have I not gotten around to reviewing Spize? I can only guess that it wasn't listed here on TripAdvisor in the past. Anyway, I find myself going here at least once a month (which is a lot for me), and it's my go-to place for Asian food downtown, and there are plenty that's currently out there. I've had the... More

This Thai restaurant is awesomely delicious in a bright, inviting and modern space. While I thoroughly enjoyed lunch, I am sure this would be a great spot for a downtown, casual dinner. My hubby and I went on a mid-afternoon date and it was the perfect locale that combined good food, good service, and enough privacy to enjoy your conversation,... More

I've been eating lunch at Spize for quite a while and have never had a bad experience. All the rice dishes are fantastic - and you can choose the level of spice for those who are more leery of Thai food. The sandwiches are great too, but the bread is very thick and crispy, so it can be a challenge... More
