Do Not Order the Chickpea and Chicken Stew

I had the 4th of July off so I decided to go out since I had Friday off. We saw that Troy Mezze had Turkish food and we thought yea let's try this. The restaurant definitely had that cool space vibe that most of the Fayetteville street area has. It is definitely a nice space to eat. The décor... read more

Sent our entrées back after one bite. Literally could not stomach the food that was served to us. Room temperature, salty, poor quality and inauthentic food. Everything tasted awful. We ordered the "prawn" appetizer and I should have known better because the place was dead. Out of the kitchen comes 5 cocktail shrimp; 2 hot and 3 COLD. I can't... More

My friend and I arrived at this charming little restaurant for a late lunch on a Saturday. It was quite full, and we assumed that many of the customers had participated in the protest march that had just ended in downtown Raleigh. To our surprise, there seemed to be only one server for the whole place. When she finally got... More

This restaurant is a cozy place where one can experience the authentic Turkish/ Mediterranean food taste and atmosphere. I have to say that the food is extremely delicious and the portions are pretty satisfactory. Our group tried Troy mezze platter in which we were served different kinds of traditional healthy food options, as well as clay pot, lamp and chicken... More

We have been going to this restaurant for almost 3 years, even through the lean times the owner keeps a smile and delivers great food each time. We have taken several groups of friends and our family from the UK and everyone loves the healthy and tasty dishes.

I liked everything about this place. The decor was warm and pleasant. The music was both Turkish and Greek, adding to the authentic atmosphere. The woman who served us was attentive and helpful. My wife needs gluten free food, and so the server offered to change some of the items on the appetizer tray to make it all gluten free... More

Had a Living Social deal to use. Went on a Wednesday night. There was a large group at one table and than about four other tables occupied. We stood in the doorway waiting to be seated no one looked our way. Finally ran down a waitress to ask if they seated us or do we pick a table.Told us to... More

The staff was friendly and attentive (perhaps because there were only 2 filled tables in the entire restaurant) however the food was absolutely terrible. I had lasagna and my husband has "Turkish pizza", both of which tasted just like frozen dinners. In fact, my lasagna was cold when it was served.

Had the Troy lunch platter with 7 Turkish items- enough for 2 for $12 plus fresh baked bread. Great service! Lots of charm! Great Value!

A small group of friends spent several hours gallery hopping in downtown Raleigh. Inevitably, someone said, "I'm hungry," and suddenly we all were. This led to some exploring for a lunch spot. We wandered in the general direction of Moore Square, a collection of renovated warehouses and freight depots that now houses specialty shops and restaurants. A group of us... More
